Chapter 4

Internship

The investigation continues with my cooperation and with the university's cooperation. No one knew what happened, aside from my family and best friend and also the university's higher ups.

It's been weeks since our vacation officially started and even if we're not attending school, we still have guards anywhere, not inside our home though.

And because of what happened, our parents didn't allow us to have our solo trip or a trip with just me and my twins.

"So, you can't plan your summer with Fate?" I looked at Alfa who visited in our house tonight. Now, why do I feel like a prisoner? Tsk, I should go out with Fate tomorrow.

"Yup, we can go out though. But not out of town or out of the country trip. But we can do that if we are with Kuya or with them" I answered and he nodded.

"Ano na bang nangyari dyan sa stalker mo? Nahuli na ba?" tanong niya at nagpatuloy muna ako sa paglangoy.

"It looked like the police can't help me too. They said I don't have enough evidences, even though the university already put CCTVs at the locker hallway. And my statement about my stalker giving me that bear when they found the camera is not enough, they said that it might turn out that I am just inventing stories. So, they needed strong evidences, like what the hell do they even need?" I angrily spat and he sighed.

"Hanggang ngayon, wala pa ring nagagawa ang karamihan ng mga pulis. Paano mapaparusahan yang stalker mo kung wala naman silang gagawin?" naiinis na sabi niya at napailing na lang ako.

"I will do my own investigation then. Can you bring me my ice cream, please?" I stated and he immediately gave me my ice cream at the table behind him. He's just sitting on the pool side because he was eating the snacks a while ago.

"How are you going to do that, I will help you. I can't imagine someone is watching you privately, you and your twin should be safe, especially inside your room" he stated and I smirked. "Na-uh, that smirk is dangerous"

"I am dangerous, not just my smirk" I stated and chuckled when he raised his eyebrow on me.

"Then what's our plan for this investigation?"

"Are you a part of my plan?" I asked and put the ice cream beside him.

"Wow, I feel so loved" he sarcastically stated and splashed some water on me. "Common, tell me your plan and I will help you execute it. We need to put that damn stalker down"

"You don't even know who is it" I stated and sat beside him, while wiping my face.

"Of course, I knew who is that. Aside from the fact that I am beside you while you're making a statement at the precinct, I am also there when you received that gift from one of your psychotic admirers"

I looked at him and sighed.

"I will confront him. One of these days, wherever is he by that time, I don't care. But before I do that, I have to remember when I received that and where, so I can at least get a CCTV footage from that place. To a restaurant or to the barangay office itself. I just really need strong evidence before I confront him" I stated and called a maid first to get me another set of rocky-road ice cream. "If I confront without anything to pin him down, then it's a waste of my time"

"He's a piece of fucking shit" he angrily stated while glaring at the ice cream on his hand. "Let's go to that place"

"Where? I can't remember where it was" I answered and stared at him as he tried to remember where it was. "All I can remember is his face and the interior of the place"
