Jail

Just like what Alfa announced, they proceed investigating my case and updating us the progress every week.

Until they finally went to the restaurant because they considered my best friend as a witness, I don't really know how their policy works, but I am glad they considered his statement.

"We retrieved and already has the original CCTV footage happened when your stalker gave you the bear which actually has a camera. Now, this is enough evidence in court, so we will immediately process a warrant of arrest at him. So, we have to know his address, do you know where it is?"

I tried remembering if ever that man mentioned an address.

His name is Carlos, he's actually rich and handsome, just not kind and an absolute jerk back then. So, I immediately rejected him, which he didn't like at all. Then... What happened next after I rejected him?

"I remembered him saying once that he's from Manhattan Condo Tower at QC. He invited me to go in his unit, which I declined. I am just not sure if he's still there. I am not even sure if what I remembered is correct" I stated and sighed. "I don't put too much effort to know them if I don't want to. So, I am not sure with the address or any other details of him that you wanted to ask me"

"It's okay, but with the only limited details, the search for him might be a little slower because we need to find more details about him. Don't worry, we will connect with our intelligence team and with the other government departments to cooperate with us for this case" the officer in charge for my case stated and I nodded because I knew that they are going to end this case as soon as possible. I don't even know why did they continue it when it's almost at the backburner of their files already.

"Thank you, chief. Thanks for proceeding my case" I genuinely thanked him. Mom and dad smiled at him as well. They are here because of the case's progress.

"Thank you officer I will expect that soon, this case will end and he will put into jail. I will trust you on this one, officer"

"I will make sure on that, Sir" the officer stated and warmly smiled at us.

"As a sign of our deep appreciation, we have a little gift for all the officers inside the precinct" mom stated it this time.

"Thank you po" the officer thanked them politely.

A few minutes passed; our staff arrived with so many foods for the whole employee of this precinct.

Those foods are actually more than enough for these officers working here.

"Naku parang buong barangay na po ang pakakainin niyo" narinig kong biro ng isang pulis na pinapanood ang paglabas-masok sa pantry ng mga tauhan namin para magdala ng pagkain.

"Don't worry, it's free and it's already for your lunch and meryenda. If there will be so many left-overs, you can still bring it at home if you want to. I just really want to thank you for handling my daughter's case. It means so much to us, her parents" mom genuinely stated and everyone who's here with us smiled at us.

Each day that passed, I witnessed how hard it is to search for that creep. They said that there are CCTV footages that can help them track him. but that's not enough when he's running every damn day. He's running away from the authorities' sight.

I knew that he probably knew that that we already found out about the damn camera, so he immediately planned his disappearance from the condo tower where he used to live. He immediately run away and hide from us. And it's so frustrating that I am here, waiting for the progress while studying at the same time.
