Drug
Never did I thought that I will be a lovesick fool... not until she made me believe that I am capable of loving someone, more than the way I love myself. That every time I saw her, I felt like I took some drugs because of the ecstatic feeling she made me feel. It's her...
My Aczia Faith...
I watched her walked down the aisle, holding the bouquet that looks like the same from what she had from our previous wedding. She said that she wants the same looking bouquet, so it will replace the memory of our previous wedding with our wedding now.
Seeing that bouquet brought me back to what happened to us from the very beginning.
I am smiling widely, while she's walking slowly towards me. I can't see her face clearly because of the veil, yet I am thrilled on what's going to happen.
Aczia Faith is going to be my wife, yet I knew she's not one of those happy brides you will ever meet.
Who would be happy if you are just force to marry someone, you don't even fucking know?
And that someone controlled her ex-fiancée's job so that he will let go of her. But it's not my fault that he's too weak to hold her more, when she's needing him to fight the most.
Now, she's going to marry someone who will ruin her. I smirked when she's finally in front of me.
"Please take care of her hijo" her father said and of course, I shouldn't ruin their expectation on me.
"I will surely take care of her, Mom and Dad" I replied and they smiled at me. I knew they are not happy too. But them and my parents made a deal about this, they don't have any fucking choice but to let their daughter marry me.
When they left, I slowly put my bride's hand on my arm.
"Smile, hon. You are lucky to marry me" I teased and she pinched my arm, instead of saying anything. I hissed in pain, but I hid it with a smile and we faced the priest in front of us.
"I, Cassian Thomas Benedicto, take you, Aczia Faith Asendido, to be my wife, and to live together in marriage. I promise to love you, comfort you, honor and keep you for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and health, and forsaking all others, be faithful only to you, so long as we both shall live" I stated the vow I memorized, which I searched online.
The audience clapped and I looked at her.
Her eyes glistened when she looked at the ring that she's slowly putting on my finger. I felt her hand trembles and she frowned, not wanting me to see her cry. Or probably, she don't really want to cry.
She sighed and looked at me. The tears I saw totally vanished and she's now coldly looking at me. What now, hon? Can't afford to say any vow that you want to say for your first love?
I'm sorry but, he don't have a chance to get you away from me anymore.
I will make sure to make you pay for being irresponsible and being the main reason why my friend died. I held her hand and smiled lovingly at her, yet she's not even smiling at me.
