Wedding

"Dad! You cannot just do that to Fate" I angrily spat.

After they announced that, I pulled Fate away from that table because she might say something she will regret after. And dad? I didn't expect him to continue this plan. Like why? After all these years that I found out about that plan, why the heck they will still continue doing that?

Fate is happily in love to her boyfriend and they will marry her to someone? That's bullshit!

Now, we are in our parent's house because obviously I have to talk to dad. Fate is confused and thinking about what just happened in her unit, I didn't let her join me.

Our parents might just convince her to marry that man. We didn't even knew who he is.

"We can and we need to, Aczia" dad seriously told me that and I knew he is really serious, when he's calling me with my name. "Her boyfriend is cheating on her; I have to marry her off so she can move on from that and break their relationship. Aside from the fact that, our company will merge to them"

"She is happy with their relationship, dad. What are you saying her boyfriend is cheating on her? And what? You will merge the two companies? You can do that without forcing them to marry each other. My sister is not a charity worker, where she will marry someone, just for the sake of everybody else" I angrily explained and asked those questions.

I will do anything just to change his mind and to make sure my twin will have her own choice.

"I have evidences that can prove that your twin's boyfriend is cheating. I guess that will be enough for you to let her decide on this matter" he's angry this time too. He is angry, but still calm. I just knew it.

"And hija, we are not acting as a charity worker to our friend. We invested money to their company before too and they are our friends. Fiends helped each other's back in times of need. Their company needs us and your twin needs to break her relationship with her cheater boyfriend, as soon as possible" Mom softly explained, but her gentle voice didn't soothe me at all.

"No" I stared to the both of them. They both sighed and looked at each other. "No one will take her freedom to choose who she will marry. No one, even if it's for a good cause, she should be the one to choose for her partner in life. Not you Dad, Mom and not anyone else"

I left the room and immediately stormed out of the house to go at my twin's unit.

My fiancée's penthouse is far from our condo tower, so I didn't see her often. But I never thought that she didn't share anything to me, if her boyfriend is really cheating on her. I am her twin. I will believe her words.

"Tell me the truth, are you happy before this dinner happened?" I asked her the moment she opened the door for me.

"I... am?" she answered me, obviously confused on why the hell did I asked her that question.

"Will you do what they wanted you to do? Marry someone you don't even knew?" I asked her another question and she frowned.

"So, they are really planning to marry me" she whispered and looked at me. "I cannot marry someone else" I smiled at her answer. "But if the situation requires me to do so, I will..."

Stupid talaga...

"What!?" I asked the moment I heard that last statement. "You should not! It's your freedom to choose the partner you will have for the rest of your life. Don't just marry a stranger, just because someone told you so"
