THE NEXT morning Sunjai woke up to Ja sitting on the edge of her bed in nothing but one of her towels, "Where is yo' clothes?" Her voice came out low and a bit raspy.
"In the washing machine." He turned off his phone and turned around to look at her, "You snore like a fuckin' bear."
"No I don't." She pulled her blanket down before kicking it off her legs, "You just be cappin'.
Ja stood up, "What I gotta cap for? It's aight to snore, some people wish to sleep that good."
He laughed as he dodged a pillow that she threw at him. He picked it up and tossed it on the bed after it hit the ground. "And for you to have played softball you got a weak ass arm."
"Ight, you can leave." She adjusted her pajama shorts as she stepped over his shoes that were sitting in the middle of her floor.
"Stop bein' so sensitive." He joked while sitting back down, tightening his towel as he did so. Sunjai was about to walk past him but he reached out and grabbed her hand.
"You a different type of annoying. I want you gone." She crossed her arms as she stood between his legs.
"I'll leave when my clothes are done drying." He looked up at her. "Where do you keep all the clothes from your online thingy?"
She raised an eyebrow, "Why, you wanna try somethin' on?"
"Another joke that ain't land. . ." He said sarcastically, "I was just curious." He shrugged, the both of their attention was turned to the nightstand where her phone began buzzing erratically.
Sunjai took a step back away from him and went to grab it, when she had it in her hand she realized all the notifications had come flooding in from Instagram.
At first it was just a bunch of likes on her latest posts, then an influx of new followers. To top it off her GMail app began sending her notifications alerting her that orders from her shop were being placed.
