"YOU NASTY," Ja scrunched his face up as he watched his girlfriend take small sips from the Corona beer with Chamoy wrapped around the rim.
"Drinking beer should be a hate crime." He focused his attention back on his phone, reading his live comments.
"It's only good when you have the tajin 'round it." She picked up a lime and stuck it in the drink before taking another sip. "My mommy used to drink it like this all the time, that's them Latina genes."
"You half Mexican?"
"Nah, but my mom was," Sunjai responded to Ja. "I thought I told you that." She licked around the rim. Sunjai's mother Rella, was Mexican and Samoan, while Mir was just black.
"My middle name is literally Ilena, my mama chose it since my pops chose my first name." She then added on as she stared at Jamel, before looking away. His eye contact still affected her heavily, made her feel this weird feeling inside.
"You speak Spanish?" Ja leaned his head on his hand as he watched the girl pick up a fry and eat it.
"Barley," She chuckled. "I understand it, ion speak it tho." She watched one of the waiters who were wearing a short jean skirt-cropped flannels that was tied up showing majority of their stomachs-the shirts were so short that you could see their chest that was somewhat exposed walk behind the bar they was currently sitting at to eat lunch.
"Y'all enjoying y'all food?" She asked, smiling.
Sunjai shrugged, "It's ight." She mumbled causing the girl smile to drop into a mug. "The fries could've been more seasoned, and some of my wings weren't boneless like I asked for so. . ." She trailed off looking back at the waiter who just rolled her eyes.
"Well, you should've said something." She crossed her arms. "Instead you sat there all this time, not once telling us that your food was wrong."
Sunjai's eyebrow rose before she looked at Ja who sighed, "Be nice." He muttered as she continued looking at him. Ja muted his phone so the live didn't hear the conversation, "You right, our bad."
