HARUCHIYO was looking around anxiously for any signs of Mikey. He feels his palms sweat and his heart beat going faster with each passing minute as he drags you out of the train.

He knows he shouldn't be out here with you, let alone associate with you but he lets himself be carried away by your persistence and now the two of you are faced with a problem. He's not worried about himself, rather he's worried about you.

Mikey is not the type to be easily angered, but when he is you'd rather be on his side than anyone else because the way he expresses his anger is far different than you would expect and much more harsh in a way.

"Haruchiyo where are we going?" You asked him, again. He has been ignoring you ever since he dragged you out of the shopping district.

He wouldn't even answer your simple question and it left you even more confused as you already were. You knew that it possibly have something to do with Mikey.

A few years ago, that was also your speculation. It seemed that Haruchiyo and Mikey had a fight but never properly made up. Even now, they appeared tense when one of them was around.

There were still many questions in your mind such as the way Mikey was acting during your phone call. He didn't tell you what was wrong, which was odd considering he used to blabber about the smallest detail of his day. He sounded concerned but at the same time angry.

Now, it was haruchiyo. He overheard your phone call with Mikey and cut your call short, only to drag you into his apartment without so much as an explanation.

Did Mikey not want you to hang out with haruchiyo? Did he even know you were hanging out with him?

"My apartment," Haruchiyo answered briefly.

Your eyes widened slightly, interest taking place. You always wondered where he lived now, not that you had visited his house many times as children. You heard that he ran away from home a few years back and you wanted to ask how he was doing now.

Where did he live? Did he live with someone? Was he eating well? Were some of the questions that lingered on your mind.

After a few minutes of walking, you found yourselves in a dark alleyway leading to his supposed apartment. You hid behind Haruchiyo as he walked passed some unfriendly neighbors who were smoking some sort of illegal substance and they were staring at you weirdly, knowing that you weren't from around the area.

Every corner lurked some criminals or people who ran illegal business but they didn't block or even mention haruchiyo as he bravely walked passed them.

You were visibly concerned about the neighborhood he was living in, it was unsafe but knowing Haruchiyo, he could protect himself. You wondered what he does to make ends meet after running away from home.

"I'm sorry I had to bring you here," Haruchiyo said, taking a glance at you over his shoulder.

He felt guilty for bringing you in such an area but he had no choice, he didn't want you to get in trouble and if something were to go wrong he'd be here to protect you.

"It's alright, haru. It doesn't bother me." You reassured him. He continued walking towards an old building and stepped inside. The interior didn't look too bad as the exterior did. It was clean and had hints of traditional Japanese decor.

Haruchiyo lived on the second floor. His apartment had one bedroom, a bathroom, a fairly large living room, and finally a kitchen. Everything was clean and organized, not a spec of dust could be found on a shelf or a slipper misplaced.

He locked the door behind him and welcomed you into his living space. "I'll get you a drink, wait here." He said as he left to get you something from the kitchen.

You sat on his leather couch and looked around, trying to find something interesting to lay your eyes on. You were busy looking around until you paused on a lone picture frame near his tv. Upon closer look, you found it to be a picture of five children.

You were sitting in the middle as your childhood friends each held up their poses. Keisuke was on your left, holding a peace sign and Mikey was behind you also holding a peace sign but he placed it on top of your head making it look like you had horns. They both were smiling brightly at the camera, which was held by Shinichiro.

Haruchiyo was smiling shyly. He was holding your hand and instead of looking at the camera, he was staring directly at you with such gentle eyes.

It was only now that you've noticed these small details. It's been years since you've seen this picture.

Lastly, Senju was beside her brother. She held up a rockstar hand sign with her tongue out. You remembered how much scolding she got from Takeomi because she didn't act feminine enough.

A small detail you noticed was Emma's small figure on the back. She later complied about being left out and the fact that no one bothered to call her for the picture. Shinichiro apologized by buying her some clothes after.

"Sometimes, I wanted to bring back those happy days." Haruchiyo's voice alerted you and you put the picture frame down to its proper place before turning to him as if nothing happened.

Haruchiyo didn't appear upset that you were looking through his stuff. In each hand, he held a bottle of your favorite beverage. He gestured for you to sit back down and you did, sitting beside him. He hands you your drink and plops down beside you.

"What happened haruchiyo? It's okay if you don't want to talk about it but Im here to support you either way."

Unconsciously, his hand made its way to his black mask. He touched his large scars through the fabric and almost immediately, memories from that day appeared again.

"I'll tell you about it, someday." He looks down. "For now.. just promise me one thing." Haruchiyo said.

Nodding, you waited for him to continue. You were still in the dark about Mikey and Haruchiyo's current relationship but didn't want to push him into telling you something he was uncomfortable about. "Okay, what is it haru?"

"Don't tell Mikey about meeting me today. Don't even tell him that we're talking."

Haruchiyo knows it's best to stop associating himself with you but was it wrong for him to act selfishly? All he wants is to have someone he can share small moments and talk.
