EVER SINCE what happened a week ago, Mikey didn't leave your side. He'd accompany you everywhere, besides the bathroom. The moment you woke up and went to bed, he was there.

At school, restaurants, and any place you could think of, Mikey would cling to you like a lost child.

He's grown rather overprotective of you too, you've noticed. He was never overbearing about such things before, only after the incident. It seemed that the mere thought of you getting scratched was enough for Mikey to lose his mind.

Mikey had already taken care of that gang, but to make sure nothing like that ever happens he wants to remain by your side.

Haruchiyo, you haven't seen him since then. You tried texting him but he never responded, which caused you to worry. You were only certain that he was alright because you'd caught a glimpse of him once during your daily rides with Mikey.

Tonight, Mikey had a meeting because he needed to introduce a new member to Toman. He insisted that you tag along and you did, as you were somewhat of an official member who everyone knows as a close friend of their president.

Mikey didn't mention any details of this new member to you, nor did you insist he does. You were used to going along in these toman meetings where they would introduce new members, it was rather amusing to see what new members had to offer.

Most of the members were rather interesting. Especially the captains of each division. They had their own unique personalities and fighting skills which earned them a decent titles in the gang.

You were situated at Mikey's bike, a distance from the crowd of delinquents sporting their signature black uniforms. There was an odd one out in the crowd, a boy with blonde hair who you recognized to be Takemichi was obviously out of place. He wasn't sure where to stand as he wasn't an official member yet.

Once Mikey was ready to speak, everyone was silenced so they could hear what their president was about to announce.

Even when Mikey yelled at the top of his lungs, it was still difficult to hear or understand what he was trying to convey. Sometimes you found yourself spacing out because you couldn't fully understand.

Soon after the introductions and announcements, the sea of men parted to let a man with blonde hair and glasses pass through. He had a tall man standing behind him, following him through the pathway.

A wave of both confusion and anger swept through the crowd when the new member, supposed new captain of the third division turned his back on Mikey. Everyone saw this as a sign of disrespect. Who in their right mind would be so cocky to show their back on Mikey?

Although it slightly bothered you that Pah-chin's rightful position was getting replaced by a mere stranger who climbed the ranks, you knew that they shouldn't leave the position empty. Perhaps Mikey had a proper reason as to why he appointed this man.

The commotion started when Takemichi interrupted the ceremony by using violence against the new third-division captain.

He wasn't even an official member, yet he choose to pick a fight with a captain. You knew Takemichi wasn't the type to randomly punch people in the face but here he was, he punched not just a member of Toman, but their third division captain too.

Before you knew it, Baji stepped into the scene. He was cornered by the other captains but managed to step away, only to punch Takemichi.

While to everyone, it appeared that Baji was Merley causing trouble, you saw it was him creating a scene to protect Takemichi. Fortunately, he was stopped by mitsuya, if he had not interrupted then Takemichi would have suffered more injuries.
