Seokjin
Seokjin sat still on the bed, replaying the earlier scene over and over. The way Jungkook had looked at him—his gaze angry, but he couldn't tell why. What did he do? Why did everything seem to be going wrong? His manager has been acting like shit, his boyfriend paid no attention to him (though he understood since the alpha had come to busan after a long time), and his boyfriend's friends and family did not appear to like him at all.
This trip has been nothing but terrible.
Taking a deep breath, he tried to calm his heart rate down. Jungkook's scent still lingered around the room and clung to his face, which he guessed was because the alpha had pressed close to his face with his intense dark eyes. He shouldn't be affected by his boyfriend's brother–that is unthinkable, a NO. It shouldn't affect him that much like this–shouldn't make him crave the younger alpha's touch. Shutting his eyes, he squeezed it, trying to have his brain stop. To stop thinking about all those things. Oh, god, he was horrible. He was a horrible boyfriend, and he didn't deserve Yoongi. Rushing into the bathroom, he turned on the faucet, splashing water in his face over and over and over and over again, wanting to stop the train of thoughts running in his mind.
...
He learned something the next day, which partially gave him relief and partially sadness–he didn't know which one was greater and neither feelings had made sense.
Jungkook, he learns, left due to a rut.
No wonder he was able to smell the other alpha–his embarrassing response was just a reaction to the alpha's rut. Just that, nothing more, thank god.
But still, on the other hand, it made him disappointed that the man had left without even saying a goodbye. Of course, he was no one but he could not understand why it made his heart squeeze in pain. Perhaps, it was because Yoongi was still ignoring him. Still acting all distant and weird, alongside Jimin and Taehyung. Hoseok apparently took Jungkook home, and he couldn't help but wonder whether they were together. Regardless, it was not his business, yes, that's right. However, his remainder of vacation went like this–constantly thinking over things he shouldn't–and before he knew it, it was already Monday.
It turned out Hoseok and Jungkook took one car. So, today, Jimin and Taehyung sat at the front, with the omega detective driving, while Yoongi and he sat at the back. The ride was quiet with him humming over the songs played, while Taehyung sang out loud and Jimin joined here and there. Yoongi beside him simply stared out the window. It seemed the producer was angry with him because of that night–he didn't mean to upset the Alpha, but he himself was frustrated and angry with the situation. And having never experienced any cold war with the other man has left him confused. He only hopes that things will get better once they return to Seoul.
...
They got dropped off at Yoongi's house while he had fallen asleep. He awakes with a startle at the alpha's voice, disrupted from a very odd dream that only had Jungkook in it; he cannot even bring himself to remember because the memories of the dream disappeared within seconds, vanishing like smoke. Still, he thanks the pair at the front and follows Yoongi out, grabbing a few of the belongings into his hands.
"My Yoongi-ah!" Mrs. Jeon exclaims with a smile, pulling the alpha into a hug. "My baby, did you all have fun?" She glances at him with a small smile, before returning her gaze towards Yoongi once again with one of confusion. "Where is Jungkook?"
"Oh, he didn't visit?"
When Mrs. Jeon shook her head, Yoongi nodded and continued. "I will check up on him, then. He's in a rut. Come, let's get in, kind of tired and famished."
