Janus used to experience a sense of unease whenever he was tasked with taking care of Remus and Logan for extended periods of time. It wasn't because of any problematic behaviour on their part, although Remus could be quite a handful at times. Rather, Janus found the task to be mentally and physically demanding, requiring him to be constantly alert and aware of their needs.

However, despite the challenges, Janus derived great pleasure from observing the two of them interact and regress together. That being said, it was undeniable that they were a high-maintenance pair, and Janus often likened the experience of caring for them to the act of juggling two cats simultaneously.

Among the pair of siblings, Remus was the younger one, approximately three to four years of age. He possessed a generally tranquil and contented demeanour on pleasant evenings but could become irritable and challenging to satisfy on unfavourable nights.

Remus derived immense pleasure from playing with an array of toys, including fidget spinners, stuffed animals, and colourful building blocks. His joyous laughter was music to Janus' ears, who thoroughly embraced the opportunity to amuse him with his comical retellings of timeless fairy tales. The sound of Remus' cheerful giggles were a source of great delight and gratification to Janus.

Logan's demeanour stood out from the crowd as he had a proclivity for immersing himself in video games and online experiments while shying away from socialising with others. Nonetheless, he always managed to allocate time to spend with his intimate confidant, Remus, who held a special place in his heart.

Despite Remus' nonchalant attitude towards their relationship, it was obvious that they shared a deep and meaningful connection. Interestingly, Logan's behaviour towards Remus was in stark contrast to his typical antisocial tendencies.

As Janus walked into the Light Commons to make themselves a cup of tea, they were met with an unexpected sight. Remus and Logan were engaged in a heated argument, both tugging at the remote control with determined looks on their faces.

While such disagreements between the two were not uncommon, there was something about this particular incident that seemed more intense than usual. Janus couldn't help but wonder what could have caused such an intense clash between the two.

Tears welled up in Remus' eyes, his emotions overwhelming him. Meanwhile, Logan's face flushed red with anger, a prominent vein pulsating on his temple. Despite Logan's attempts to defuse the situation, the smaller person suddenly stumbled backwards in shock and released heart-wrenching sobs.

Although Remus didn't experience any physical pain, the emotional wound inflicted by his once-respected older brother's betrayal was excruciating. Logan, in Remus's eyes, was the embodiment of everything he hoped to become: intelligent but not arrogant, thoughtful and reserved yet courageous and self-assured. However, Logan's reaction upon being confronted was a mixture of shock and confusion, leaving him paralysed.
