Detective Jack who had recently joined the police station was very hardworking and had been able to gain the trust of his colleagues and his seniors. Jack had been known for his unwavering sense of justice and his determination to bring criminals to justice. Growing up in a tough neighbourhood, he had seen first-hand the devastating effects that crime could have on people's lives. His passion for justice had led him to become a detective police officer, and he was well-respected among his peers for his dedication to his work.
Meanwhile, many brutal murders had taken place in the city which were being suspected that the murders had been committed by a secret gang, Bloodhounds, not much information was available about this gang. The gang mostly employed people whose live have been ruined by unemployment or they were failed to deliver justice by the government. Jack had been assigned to investigate the gang, and he was determined to bring them to justice.
During investigation he found some found some footsteps he and his colleague, James (James was Jack’s colleague, he was tall, fair, and just. He and Jack became very fast friends at work and Jack would always like James to accompany him on every investigation) traced the footsteps the footstep stopped at an awkward place the footsteps ended near a wall.
James asked ‘What will we do now Jack?’
Jack looked confused but later he replied, ‘Climb! We must climb the wall, by the way James do not you think we are quite lucky the rain happened two days ago and the murder was committed yesterday, so they travelled through the muddy ground that has left us with their footprints.’
‘Yeah! rain is not always bad,’ said James
As they jumped on the other side of the wall, they found themselves on a tin terrace which made a huge sound. They heard a voice ‘There must be someone on the roof they might have listened to our words catch them! take the money to a safe place’
Alex and James took out their pistols and started running for their life, they quickly climbed on the wall again and jumped on the other side and started running back to the police station. Some Bloodhounders (The member of the Bloodhounds were called by that name). They started running back to the police station but first they had to run a long way to get out of the forest type area. Some of the Bloodhounders stared firing at Jack and James. They hid behind two poles and started firing back at the Bloodhounders. Jack fired and said, ‘I think I have got one James! Have you got any?’
‘I think I have shot two’
‘Ok let us run again we cannot fight with all of them James, we will soon run out of bullets’
They shot another three Bloodhounders and again started running. Soon they realised they have got very close to the police station and the Bloodhounders were not following them anymore.
‘You are not walking properly James, have you got injured?’ asked Jack
‘Yeah, I once fell while running, Ah! My knee hurts.’ answered James
‘So, what now Jack?’  asked Jack
‘Let us think. If I say all these to our chief Alex and request him for a raid at tonight, we might have a slight chance to catch them but if we raid there tomorrow morning they will not be there. Let us go and say it to inspector Alex’
‘Ok let us go.’ Said James
They said all the story to Alex and he was spellbound and angry too.
‘I do not know whether I should applaud you for your bravery or suspend you two idiots for doing so much without any permission. Next time I will suspend you two is you again do something like this without my knowing. Now go.’
‘But sir what about the raid?’ asked Jack
‘Tomorrow morning’ replied Alex
‘But sir they can escape’ asked Jack
‘Do you think it the right time to go on a raid? Do you have any idea how many casualties there could be? Also, will is an important factor no officer will be willing to go on a raid now.’
‘Come with me chief’ Jack took him to the room where all officers were.
‘Officers today we have planned to go on a raid to the area of The Bloodhounds, they are responsible for killing many innocent people and police officers who were loyal to justice. Those who want to leave they can because going on this raid may be your last raid. Think of your family your children, your husbands and wife those who are waiting for you to return home so they could have dinner with you. But no matter what you all will do I will go on this raid because I have no one to shed tears if I die. My father and mother will be happy to see me dead for justice. They will be proud of me! You all can leave but will ever be able to forgive yourself if you turn your face away from this mission? Think and decide!’
After two minutes of silence Jack again asked, ‘Will you go on this raid now?’
‘Yes sir!’ said everyone not a single officer left his place all took their pistol and rifles in hand. Jack asked again, ‘Are you all sure?’
‘YES SIR!!’ The voice became even louder. Jack looked into Alex’s eyes. Alex could see the fire in Jack’s eyes nothing could have stopped him then. So, he allowed the officer to go on raid.
Out of fifty, thirty-five officers were allowed to go on the raid. Alex did not accompany them, he told Jack he had important works to do at the police station.
