A guard was standing near the front gate. Seeing Jack and X appear, he asked them, "Who are you?"
Jack straightened his tie and said, "Well you see my name is William cook and he is my brother, Axel Cook. Our father, Sir Sen Cook has passed away and we have too much money in our hands. We want to start a coal business, and that is why we need to talk to your manager."
"Sen Cook you say? Never heard of a rich guy with that name."
X said, "You are a guard mister, not an educated gentleman keeping on terms with every news the world has to offer. There are many riches in the world-"
X was about to go on, but Jack pinched him hard, and presented the guard their ID cards.
They were taken to a well-maintained office in a building at the periphery of the coal mine. The manager of the coal mine was a rough middle aged man who, while working on his computer, rudely greeted them. There was one bodyguard guarding him.
"Who are you guys?"
Jack said, "We are brothers willing to start a coal company." He continued to tell about his business deal, and presented a fake but well made business contract. Reading that, the manager's face lit up.
"You are sure that it is your first business attempt?" asked the manager.
"Why?"
"this deal is fantastic! No reason to not agree to it. Ill sign." As he was searching for a pen, Jack interrupted.
"Are you sure that this is not your first business deal?" asked Jack.
"Why?"
"You did not even give us coffee or something."
"Oh yes. George, bring two plates of sandwiches and coffee!"
Jack frowned and said, "Leave it. Ill go and watch the coal mine, and you will assist me."
The manager felt insulted for being ordered. But the deal is a very valuable one, he cannot say no.
He asked, "And this Axel guy?"
"Ill still take the sandwiches."James, sitting in a room afar, had entered the coal mine saying that he had come to check if the work conditions are alright. He has been receiving quite some hospitality from then. However, he has an airpod in his ears, in which he can listen to every single conversation from Jack's watch. Soon, as Jack left the room, James was ready for a fight.
George came in and served X. After that, he left. Now in the room was X, a closed laptop, and a bodyguard.
He tapped on his watch two times.James rose up from his seat, and started going towards the room X was in. Silently, gently, slowly walking towards the room, with a handkerchief in hand made wet with chloroform. He was supposed to make the bodyguard unconscious.
Soon he reached the closed door of the room where X was in. He opened the door.
His heart fell a little. His handkerchief dropped from his hand. His eyes bursting with surprise.
There stood a bloody X. He had a small hammer in hand, and near his feet was lying the body of the bodyguard, dead.
"You - Killed - The"
"Shut up James. We don't have time. Open the window, there is the pit of coal mining just below the window. Throw the body out."
X took out the pen drive, and inserted it inside the laptop.Jack and the manager were outside, looking at all the coal pits, when something heavy fell into one. The manager, confused, looked down. To his horror, he saw the body of the dead man.
"WHAT THE HELL! ALERT THE GUARDS!"
Jack said, "Later, manager, first we need to get the killer." The two of them ran towards the office.
The manager opened the gate and entered the room, when James attacked from behind, covering the manager's face with the handkerchief, making him fall unconscious. X put the hammer in the hands of the manager, took out the pen drive, cleaned the blood on his clothes with a napkin, and left the mine, in the car which James had brought.
"It was a crazy day"
"Yes it was fun"said X
"We have still more crazy days to experience" said Jack looking through the window seeing the sun sitting down the horizon.-Aditya Paul
