They started walking towards Arnold so they could get a cab to go back.
‘By the way Jack what did you tell Jack for leave?’ asked James with curiosity
‘Sure, I will tell you but why are you asking?’
‘Why I ask you say? Alex made me check all the files on the whole Earth! Just to get a vacation! He drove me nuts!’
‘Ha! Ha! Ha’
‘Stop laughing.’
‘Okay sorry’ Jack said chuckling
‘Now can you say what you said to that mad man?’ Jack said
‘ ‘My family has fixed someone from there?’ I said this’ said Jack
‘Fixed someone means?’
‘He asked the same question’ and I replied ‘They have fixed someone there for my marriage, I have to go.’
‘Okay one last question have they really fixed someone?’
‘Nope.’
‘What the hell? Holy Jesus you give excuses like these?’
‘Yes’
Then they both looked at each other and burst into laughter.
Suddenly a boy was coming on bicycle and while the duo was laughing, he suddenly snatched Jack’s phone and hurried away. They did not utter a single word and started running. After sometime James asked ‘What if we miss him? Will we lose all the evidence?’
‘Nope, I already took out the sim and memory card’ said James
‘Then why are we chasing?
‘Just to know why did he snatch my phone?’ replied Jack
‘What the hell, you say I have to return home’
‘But you can’t leave without me’
‘Now I have started to think you are the one for whom I am being driven nuts.’
‘Ha! Ha!’
They chased him and finally James threw a stick at him and the man lost control. As soon as they reached near him the man pulled out a gun and aimed it at James’ head and cocked the gun.
‘Now? What will you do’’ asked the man and threw the phone into a river nearby, they were on a bridge.
‘No!’ shouted Jack
Then in rage Jack took the gun from the man’s hand as quickly as light and punched him so hard that he fell into the river.
‘No need to save him the current of the river is so still he would survive?’
‘Why you lied?’
‘When did I lie’ replied Jack
‘You told me that you have the SIM and memory card.’
‘Yes I still have’ said Jack taking out those
‘Then why in rage you punched him so hard that he fell into the river?’
‘Because I lost my brand new phone!’
‘Oh’
‘Also, I reaction in that way was needed.’
‘Why?’
‘If I stayed calm, he would think I would still have the evidence so my behaviour will made him think that I had lost the evidence and he would think that we will go back empty handed.’
‘Really Jack you are too clever for me to understand you’ said Jack
Then the two hurriedly headed back to Arnold.
Then the two decided to file a court case against Alex. The next day they went to a renowned advocate John Marshall.
