The ensuing day held potential danger; Jack and James ensured they were well-prepared, carrying all essential items, including their pistols equipped with silencers.

They arrived at the port punctually at 10:30 p.m.

"Hello," greeted James.

"Today may well mark one of the most tumultuous days of my life. Trust me, if circumstances spiral beyond our control, and I am compelled to engage in combat, it will be either Alex or myself, regardless of the number I may have to vanquish," Jack reflected solemnly.

"Did you acquire a new phone?" inquired James.

"Yes, a Realme 7 with 128 GB of internal storage and a 64-megapixel camera," Jack confirmed.

"How much did it set you back?" James probed.

"193.48 pounds. It was a somewhat steep investment," Jack admitted.

After some further conversation, they took up positions behind large containers near the port. They fitted their ears with headphones for seamless communication.

Soon, a black Mercedes-Benz S63 pulled up.

"Remarkable wealth he must have," James marvelled.

"Indeed, though it may be ill-gotten gains. Cease admiring the car and remain focused," Jack cautioned.

"Note the license plate, Jack."
"There is no license plate on the vehicle."
