“You guys are back?” Asked James when he saw Jack and X approach the house.
X frowned and said, “No Mr. Assistant, we are still in the police station talking with Alex trying to find out what he was doing last night! Stupid.”
Jack looked at him and said, “X, James is a friend of mine. If you further behave rudely, remember that I am a police officer and will arrest you on spot.”
X replied, “What the hell is wrong with you? Did not attend duty for weeks and being proud to be a officer?”
“Well X, I have much more to do than listen to your blabbering. Ran after a criminal for so many days, and when we interrogated him, we got nothing except some fake compliments.”
James came in between them and said, “Shut up and go for dinner.”
For the first time after they met, Jack and X sat down peacefully for dinner. After they did, X asked Jack, “So… Our first target is Onyx. They are a way smaller gang than shadow syndicate. Any plans?”
Jack stopped eating, and said, “First of all we know that Onyx is a huge gang, it must have other coal mines except the one we already know of, right?”
“Well, definitely.”
“I did not ask you X. I just put down a statement. I am not stupid enough to verify my facts from you.”
“Peacefully guys.” Said Jack from the end of the table.
“So Jack. We will go to the coal mine where sapphire met its end, and give its manager a fake business proposal. We will go not in our usual attires, but in disguise, right?”
“Let me say.”
“Whatever.”
“Now on reaching there, we will find a way by which we can get all their transaction records, data, and statistics.”
“Hmm…Never thought of that.”
“Now I am going to have a chat with James some important tasks. Don’t interrupt, it seems that you have a habit of doing that.”
“I have no interest in prior work, I will work on field.” said X and retired to his bed.
