The ship was sailing in the shallow waters of the Atlantic Ocean, near the Scotland coast. The name of the small ship was 'Hispaniola', and was occupied with the most powerful computers, routers, radars, and weapons. The ship was the sister-headquarter of Blackwood, the sandalwood mafia.
Viper was sitting in a room, smoking a cigarette while staring at the radar screen. The screen showed that a helicopter had recently landed on the helipad of Hispaniola. He lit another cigarette.
He, knowing that he would be called soon, took on his green coat and lime hat. He wore his specially customized Rolex and sat down again. He now stared at the window, looking at the ocean. He finished this cigarette also and threw it into the bin. For some months he had been a chain smoker, but he really wanted to give up. One way or another, these smokes are ruining the beautiful ocean.
Soon the first mate of the ship asked Viper to come to the living room. Viper followed him and greeted the exact man he expected to meet.
Though Viper was in his formal attire, the man was wearing a white t-shirt and sweatpants.
"Good morning Cassian," said Viper, "Did not expect you today."
Cassian offered Viper a smoke and lit himself one. Then, he said, "Viper, for the last five decades Onyx had been the chief supplier of Blackwood, and you have been the chief distributer of Shadow Syndicate. So, Viper," Cassian closed in, "Why are you accused of revealing information to our enemies?"
Viper looked calm, but he was scared from inside. He was worried about Cassian getting to know about the two detectives.
But hopefully, Cassian said, "You revealed our location to Scotland Yard didn't you?"
Viper finally lit the smoke Cassian had offered him, while Cassian looked dead cold in his eye. His mouth however still had a grin.
Viper finally started. "See Cassian. Nor Blackwood can live without Onyx, nor shadow can survive without Blackwood. So isn't it best to keep peace?"
Cassian, smiling, said, "I know what you are up to."
Viper also smiling, said, "I supposed you will know. Cassian, leave. I have 5 years of experience more than you." Cassian stood up and left on his helicopter.
"Sir, mister algebra had arrived."
Oscar Owen looked at the constable, and said, "Why? Why do you call X as algebra?"
The laughing constable said, "Well sir all that the letter x reminds me of is algebra."
"Call them."
In a moment, X entered the room. Jack was not with him, because Jack was in the supermarket.
James asked Jack, "Bro, why the hell are we here?"
Jack pointed at a shop across the floor, named "Luxury smokes". James did a facepalm.
"So X, why are you here?"
X readied himself and said, "In 2010 a coal mine was attacked. Around the same time, did any attacks take place in the Siberia region?"
Oscar checked some files and said, "You know X? Sometimes you surprise me, you ask me things which I am also not supposed to know, but you know we are Scotland Yard we have got sources everywhere, wait a second." saying this Owen pulled out some files
"Here it is!" said Owen removing dust from a file, "There was a small attack in the New Siberia region, now to say this I have to go a little back, in 2008 a dealer signed a huge construction deal with the Russ government, which promised that he would make Siberia a modern city, then one day a small attack was there"X thought for a little. It was no doubt that this site is the headquarters of the Shadow Syndicate. He was about to get up and leave when Oscar called him from behind.
"Yes Owen?"
"X, forgot to mention, there was an assumption about who caused this attack."
X turned and asked, "Who?"
"See this picture. Though he was never arrested because of lack of evidence.."
The voice of Owen slowly mumbled in X's ears. He had seen the person in the picture.
It was Viper.
