Eda was playing cards with Owlbert as King, Jacob and Luz were watching her playing with skills.
Eda : Watch closely you two. Hex's hold' em is the most tricky game on the boiling isle. Any witch knows how to play.
Luz : Oh boy! Cards! The paper rectangles that old people think are fun.
Eda then places the card, the lightning then strikes on the cards making it have mouth and legs. The cards then started battling each other. The teens watch in awe.
Jacob : Wowzers.
Eda : Now when it looks like the deck is stacked against you, that's when you break out the wild card.
Eda then used the wild card, which made Owlbert cards burn as the flames flew and turned into words.
WINNER EDA
Eda : Woooh!! I win!!
She then pointed at Owlbert.
Eda : In your adorable owl face! Ahh I love the feeling of victory, it feels....fluffy?
Jacob : Uhh..Eda!?
Luz : It's happening again!
She said pointing at Eda arms.
Eda : Hm? What's happening again?
King : Your curse is returning!
Eda then looked at her arms as the feathers were returning.

Eda then opened the chest box in her room just to find an empty bottle of elixirs.
Eda : Oh boy, this is terrible. I'm out of elixir.
Luz : Last time this happened, you turned into that thing.
Luz showed Eda the picture and Jacob held his wrist that had a scar on it.
Eda : I know I should be repulsed but...that look is fierce.
She jokingly said but Jacob and Luz are freaking out as they are serious about it.
Luz and Jacob : Eda!
Eda : Your right, your right, both of you. I'll just ask Jess to go to the market.
King chimes in while Jacob is holding him.
King : Didn't she go out this morning, she wasn't even home right now.
Eda : Ugh..in this case, we all will be heading to the market.
Luz : Market!
Luz cheered, raising her arms in the air.
King : I'm gonna steal everything that's not nailed down!
Jacob : I'm gonna take every free food there!
Eda : Before we go, would anyone like to play one more hand of hex's hold'em?
Eda touched her pocket to grab the cards but it only felt empty.
Eda : Hey, where are my cards!!?
Luz already held the cards behind her back as King, Jacob and Luz looked at Owlbert.
Luz : Take these and fly ahead, she'll have to follow us.
Luz whispered. Owlbert took the cards and flew away, Eda noticed the card and started to chase Owlbert.
Eda : Owlbert you sore loser give me back my cards!
The three of them followed Eda.
