"Well this is just great." Mrs. Irwin complained, hanging up the phone.

"What's wrong?" Her husband asked.

"Our sitter just called, shes sick and can't watch the boys tonight." She sighed. "We'll have to cancel."

"But we've been planning this double date for a month!" Liz gasped.

"I know, but who can we call to watch Luke and Ashton?" Mr. Hemmings asked.

Someone knocked on the door.

Mrs. Irwin opened it to see two teenage boys smiling up at her.

"Hi, my names Ash- uh, Aaron, and this is my partner...Lee." One said. "We just started a babysitting service and-"

"You're hired." Liz said.

Two minutes ago

"Well this is just great." Ashton complained, stepping out of the time machine. "You broke it!"

"I did not! I was fixing it but then you started it up before I was done!" Luke snapped, waving the smoke away from his face.

"Where are we?" Ashton asked, looking around the street. "Hey, is that my house?"

"Our houses!" Luke exclaimed. "But are we in the past or the future?"

"Look!" Ashton gasped, slapping Luke in shock.

Luke glared at him but followed Ashton's gaze to two little boys who were playing outside.

"Is that us?" Luke cooed. "I was so fucking adorable. And still am."

"Oh shut up." Ashton rolled his eyes. He saw four adults talking through the window and he pulled Luke behind a tree before they were spotted. "Hey, our parents!"

"What are they talking about?" Luke asked, peering around them.

"Well they're all dressed up. Must be going on a date." Ashton figured.

"They look stressed, did the sitter cancel or something?" Luke frowned.

"Probably. Hey, let's go ask to babysit ourselves!" Ashton exclaimed.

"What, no! That's dangerous!" Luke gasped. "Stop being so irresponsible!"

"Oh come on, what could go wrong?" Ashton ran to the door and knocked. "This will be fun!"

"Ashton stop it! God, can't you be reasonable for once? We need to fix the machine so we can go home!" Luke snapped.

"Fuck off." Ashton growled. "You're no fun anymore."

"One of us had to grow up." Luke muttered.

"Well dis just gweat." Five year old Ashton huffed.

He looked down at Luke, who had his leg stuck down a rabbit hole. "Now how we play school?"

"Sowwy, jus' wanted to see if Babbit was dere." Luke poked his tongue out as he tried lifting himself out. "Ashy help his Lu!"
