Can we talk about the fact, that because of shipping Toothcup I can't watch the Httyd without feeling a little, well, uncomfortable? He, he, eh.
I have a RATHER big group (depends on what you're understanding as a big group; for me it's big) of people reading my FF, but at what cost;/
_______________
In the middle of nowhere, on the island where mountain views blended with those of the waterfront, the group of young adults had settled somewhere deeper in the woods surrounding them. All gathered around the bonfire were tending to themselves, each in their own way.
Leaning against the trunk of the fallen tree, Astrid sharpened her axe, occasionally tossing the stick that Stormfly was passing her. Snotlout, whose black hair fell over his eyes as he worked, focused on the paper before him, drawing some sort of hut.
The same as him, the two twins, Ruffnut and Tuffnut, planned their staying, but in practical form, pointing at various spaces of the island. At some point came Fishlegs, with Meatlug by his side, carrying some rocks.
Immediately, he took in the sight of everyone and frowned. "Where is Hiccup?" he asked, detecting a lack of mentioned woman.
"I'll answer yer question with another one. Where is Toothless?" Astrid inquired, snorting.
"Weren't they havin' some tasks to do, like all of us?" Fishlegs mentioned, pointing at the rocks which he dragged with the dragonness, who growled, silently.
"They did them, already," Astrid explained and showed him the bucket full filled with a colorless liquid. "Water," she presented and pointed with her chin to the fire. "Wood."
"They're fast," Fishlegs pointed out, taking some of the weight off Gronckle's back. "What about yer dragons?" he asked, glancing from the twins to Snotlout.
"Chasin' themselves," Snotlout replied, before snapping and growling, "Weren't we supposed to keep an eye on them?"
"Who? Hiccup and Toothless?" Astrid snickered, rolling her eyes. "Are ya really so edger to follow Stoic's commands? I, on the other hand, came here to get away from them."
"I'm just sayin' they're alone and-,"
"And so what? You think they're fuckin' each other?" she ironized, smirking while observing the flush on Snotlout's face. "If they wanted to do that, they would have done it a long time ago already. I doubt Toothless would be bothered even by Stoick's presence."
As she joked, at the mention of the man's name, Stormfly, who had just come over to her, squealed, looking around. Instantly, Astrid groaned and took the stick sticking out of her mouth, before throwing it away, grumbling.
"What does she see in him?" she muttered, disgust overtaking her face.
Fishlegs asked, "Who? Hiccup?" as he fed Meatlug, who squirmed in pleasure.
"Stormfly, I meant Stormfly, but Hiccup too, and Ruffnut, apparently," she clarified and gagged, noticing the second-mentioned woman's doe eyes.
"The question is what are ya not seein' in him?" Ruffnut crooned, sighing. "He's so masculine, muscled, and wild-,"
"Appearance isn't everythin'. He's also a rude jerk and an asshole."
"Who cares?" Ruffnut cajoled and droned, crossing her arms, tight. "Lucky Hiccup," she mumbled, before barking, upset. "What does he see in her?!"
"Everythin', clearly," Tuffnut stated, tsking. "He's more in love in her than Fishlegs is in Meatlug, and that's somethin'."
"Hey!" Fishlegs yapped, before stroking the head of whining Gronckle. "I love ya far more than that brutal does," he whispered, hugging her and Meatlug licked his cheek, cooing.
