The sky was clear and bright. Not a cloud to block the sun. The wind was soft and cool, and the buzz of excitement from the crowd was so thick in the air you could smell it.

A New Witch's Official Introduction. A New Era. Each one had been marked with a different colored Barrier. Labeling that time period and all its history. Such a significant event. If you were alive to watch The Barrier change color. Then that was your generations Witch representative. The Age of Purple was upon them. It riveted their hearts to be able to witness this change.

It meant they were safe for a while longer. It meant their society would prosper. Despite any ill will toward herbivores or the inferiority complex some Apex had against the Witch. Everyone was happy to see this Ceremony through. No one wanted to be exposed to hell itself on the other side. Even the heretics would bite their tongues and stay their hands on this day.

It was such an important and historical day. A significant act that needed to happen in order for survival. Yet, seven people in the crowd spread out amongst their cliques. Closest to the school. Looked as white as ghosts. Cold sweat forming in their palms. Scowls etched onto their faces as they glanced around.

They had to be here. In order to pretend like they hadn't done anything. But still. Standing in the crowd and waiting for the end of the world was no easy feat.

All the important people were present. The Principle, The Mayor, and even an Alliance Leader and his disciple had attended. Although they hadn't come out yet. The Director of the Magic Tower was standing on the stage that was set to the side of the Ceremony clearing. Close to the barriers edge, by the school.

"Ladies and gentlemen, today is a very special day for a very special Witch. Alona is extremely intelligent and driven. She is talented and modest. When she told me she wanted to attend college in Animal city despite being a scholar I was impressed. She didn't want to spend her time here doing nothing. I hope the school and her peers took care of such a brilliant Rabbit." He mused and it was shocking to hear. She was a scholar. Intelligent? It baffled them. Alona seemed so stupid and weak. So foolish.

Suddenly, Alona, not paying attention in any of her classes made sense to Pat. She felt her heart throb. She had never known anything about her. She never asked.

"This ceremony is very special, unprecedented, and unseen before. Alona will perform El..."

But an alarm sounded and terrified everyone. It was the emergency alert for an approaching monster. The Barrier's announcement system kicked in.

"6 Medium. Abyss level 3----6 Medium. Abyss level 3" The unembodied voice was always emotionless and factual. It always repeated itself at fixed intervals until the Witch confirmed engagement. 6 level 3 monsters were approaching the Barrier. A moan of terror waving through everyone.

The looming evil getting closer and closer, their hollow eyes fixed on the crowd, they had seen them through the weakening green light. A line of warriors in uniform made a wall to protect the citizens with their bodies.

The closer they inched, the more fear petrified them. That dread was fifty times worse for the seven people who stood guilty in the commotion. There was no hope. The Witch wasn't coming. They killed her. No one could save them from this, and the more their faces twisted with guilt and terror. The more Alona smiled as she looked down from a three-story building. Just above the crowd. Properly clothed in her robes, proudly wearing the sigil of her coven.

She casually leaned on the small rail. Sticking a joint in her mouth, her pale finger pointing and flickering out a purple flame from its tip. Her eyes fixed on her victims as she took a deep drag. The more they squirmed, the more she could feel her belly roll with pure pleasure. She felt like she could cum. Or maybe pee herself. It was such a delicious feeling. So overwhelming and made her feel almost delirious.
