Alona knew what she was doing. But to Auris and Sloan, she just looked reckless. Being out in the open was dangling a steak to starving lions.

The Woman was unashamed and unafraid. In the face of everyone she met she was a menace. And she silenced them one after the other. Mostly going to clubs and parties, drinking and smoking. They followed her around with worry for a little while. But eventually she grew a name for herself.

When Alona walked into a club for the first time, immediately everyone's eyes were on her, something they'd never seen. Oddly so bold. Oddly so seemingly ignorant about where she was. But that only lasted until they approached, and a sickening grin would spread across her face.

THUD. The first would go down. And the room would clamor after her, her small body gracefully moving in and out, one by one leaving a circle on their skin. Making them heavy and sluggish.

It was like she was dancing to the music as she twirled quickly and weaved through the crowd, all hostile Predators kneeling to the ground. Her big purple eyes glowing in the dark space, lights shimmering across her face.

Becoming infamous and pissing off the caste system was her right as far as she was concerned. And she wanted to burn a fire in the belly of the beast. Get its attention. Send her message.

When she was questioned,

"You WHORE! Witches can't use magic on people! You'll get corrupted! Evil! Vile creature! DEMON!" One young Lion Screamed at her. And she laughed so hard she doubled over. Wiping the corners of her eyes. Looking down at him, applying Even more pressure. His head bowing further as she came closer to him, slitted eyes growing wider and wider.

"I am not corrupted. Does my magic look red to you?" She questioned. And he furrowed his brow.

"N... no." He mumbled and she nodded.

"THEN...Then what huh?! You're some psycho Bitch?!" He yelled in her face and growled. Her hand promptly grabbing a fistful of his mane and yanking him up, snarling in his face.

"No, I'm just a survivor, like all of you? I have power, and you don't. Therefore, I can do, whatever the FUCK I want! Isn't that right? According to your, sys-tem." The Witch firmly poked him in the eye twice as she spoke, and he yelped.

"Mr. Predator?" She finished. And he glared at her as she flung him down hard. Patting her hands off and sighing. Disappointed he couldn't come up with anything.

And Alona would be known by many names, none too concrete, but word of her willingness to defend herself was a shock. And perceived as untrue rumors. But still. It was enough to attract attention. And perfectly when the people she had tricked were too busy worrying about the end of the world to party.

I mean, if she did see them, she could simply disappear? Wouldn't that be funny?

Her small body was tucked into a back booth. A cheetah girl purring in her lap as she pets her and rubs her soft ears. A red fox woman nuzzling her shoulder and a Hyena man was giggling across from her. People she had met hours ago and had been talking too intensely.

The Hyena man puffed a blunt and sucked in air. Blowing out as his head tilted up.

"So, we just change how we act? And anyone who follows we give them this?" He asked again. Making sure as he held up his hand. On the back was her symbol. A glowing purple tattoo.

Alona nodded and smirked. Taking a deep swill of liquor.

"You start spreading the word. You treat people with respect and value individual talent instead of strength. You care for one another. You pick each other up. Stand up for what's right. And the more people you convince the better this city can get. But it's all up to the people here. And if they want to change. If they go back on what they say, that mark will disappear." Her voice was dripping with persuasion. Not that it would take much for people who were scared. People who were tired of living like this, who just needed a place to feel safe, and to belong.
