It was winding down by the fire. Alona was hugging a bottle of gin. And the others were clinking their last mixed drinks. The Rabbit was red from drinking. She'd just put a thin white dress over her suit since it wasn't wet.

The others were having conversations about irrelevant things, like always. It seemed to be Michelle's specialty at this point. As it lulled in and out, it got rather quiet and Minwa glanced over at the rabbit and smiled.

"Alona, would you show us something else, something maaagic?" She was slurring her words, but it came out clear. Alona hiccupped a little. Nodding. She'll amuse them. It's the least she could do.

The others quieted down further and in her drunken stupor she smiled a little too much. It was Suttle and quick. But Minwa saw it. It made her feel odd, like she'd seen something under the surface. It made her tilt her head slightly. But she wrote it off as a trick of the fire light.

"Tearsay's favorite animal was the Bird. I loved that. So free. Flying feels the best, her familiar was a Bird too." She giggled and threw her head back to look at the moon. Her mask was slipping a bit.

An unsettling feeling surrounded the camp. It pooled in around them eerily. The girls shuffling their feet with unspoken discomfort.

Her purple eyes shifted to them, and for some reason Michelle felt a random sliver of fear creep into her. Startling her slightly. But she quickly wrote it off as nonsense.

"But me.... well, I prefer Snakes." After the silence followed her last word, a hissssss echoed from close by. Their eyes snapped up to a rather large snake, peering over Alona's head as her ears perked up to frame its smooth face.

She laughed as she leaned back and the snake dove down to wrap around her neck and torso. Slithering around her affectionately. Making Pat gasp.

"Alona! you have a familiar?" She was so surprised; she hadn't seen it yet. The Witch gave a small smile and shook her head, waving a hand.

"No I don't. This is just a Snake that was nearby. There are a couple others too. But I thought too many would freak you all out." She was drunk and blathering rubbing her face on the snake. The girls watched in anticipation. It felt like the reptile would bite her rosey cheeks at any moment.

The rabbit snorted and kicked her feet. Looking at them adorably and puffing up her cheeks.

"Well that's too boring i guess. Here." She pointed a finger into the sky and suddenly a bug came flying down. Landing on her pointer and opening its wings to flash its glowing green abdomen.

"Friends of mine, light my way." Alona said lovingly. And suddenly all around them they saw green little lights dancing magically through the air. Hundreds of fire flies, all responding to the Witches words.

Michelle was breath taken, all the girls enamored by such a display. Their drunk minds were impressed. They got up and started giggling, twirling around in them and holding their hands up to cup them in their palms gently.

The bunny woman seemed so seamless. Minwa looked back at her as everyone was distracted by the lights. Alona looked rather amused, even with her swollen cheek. Her low eyes staring at the group from under her bangs. A sense of reality had crept into a sliver of the Fox's mind.

Who was Alona really? She had so many secrets yet seemed so easy to figure out. If Minwa thought about it hard enough, she didn't even know the rabbits favorite color. Or even her birthday. Not one thing she could think of.

She'd just been "Michelle's rabbit" this whole time.

The bunny looked up and caught the Fox's gaze. The look in Minwa's dark brown eyes told her, that someone was getting curious.
