9th September,

Yet another Tuesday morning at the school came, uneventful and noisy as always.

"Amelia?? Hey???" Upon feeling someone calling, Amelia immediately turned, coming face to face with her best friend, Eva, who was calling her all along.

"Hm? Sorry, were you saying something? I kind of zoned out," said Amelia.

Eva let out a sigh. "Forget it. By the way, did you-"Before she could finish her words the teacher entered the classroom and everyone stood up to greet the teacher.

It was lunchtime. Amelia and her friends, along with Eva went to the cafeteria. After finishing their lunch, they went out of the school building to walk around the school ground. Just then, someone caught Amelia's eyes.

A boy.

He looked so handsome and pulchritudinous. She had never seen this boy before. He was going to the back of the school. Amelia's eyes never left him.

"Hey guys, who's that boy? The one who is walking to the back of our school" said Amelia.

"Who?"

The others tried to find the boy whom she was talking about.

"Can you point?" Asked Irene. Amelia did as she was suggested.

"Where?" Asked Natasha.

"I'll see you later," said Amelia and she started walking towards the way the boy went.

Seems like the uneventful day is going to turn into a fateful one, within a few minutes.

"Where are you going?!" Asked Irene loudly for her to hear. She got no reply because Amelia was busy going to the boy.

But why? Why was she going to a random guy just because he caught her eye? Well, something about that boy just felt thaumaturgic to Amelia. Something was special about him, and she found the urge to instantaneously go to him. She, herself didn't know why.

The boy went to the backside of the school and walked towards a big tree that was situated there and sat under that tree. He had a book in his hands. He started flipping the pages of the book and finally stopped at a page.

Amelia soon found him under that tree. Sitting under such a beautiful, big tree, that attractive boy was reading a book. The view was just so stunning that she couldn't take her eyes off it. The boy didn't seem to notice her.

She walked towards the boy. When she finally reached him, she stood in front of him and asked, "Can I sit beside you?"

"Sure," said the boy with a good-natured smile.

His voice sounded so sweet to Amelia. Everything about him already felt so magical to Amelia even if she just saw him for the first time.

Amelia sat down.

"May I know which class are you from?"

"Secret," he laughed it off.

"What's so funny? Don't reply if you don't want to," the girl said being quite impatient and annoyed at the same time.

"Okay chill, I'm a senior here. How about you?" Asked the boy.

"Oh, I see. I'm a junior. What's your name by the way?" Asked Amelia looking into the boy's eyes.

"I'm Daniel. You?"

"Amelia here. Nice to meet you," saying this she reached out her right hand for a shake.

"Nice to meet you too," they shook hands.

When Amelia held the boy's hand, she felt like she was on a magic island, where it was just him and her, every single thing around her was hope. She never felt like this just by holding someone's hands before. Is this called.....Love?

The boy left Amelia's hands.

"Uh, so what book are you reading?" Asked Amelia.

"Anne of Green Gables,"

"Oh, I see. Keep reading then, I have to go now." The girl got up.

"Already? Okay then. See you tomorrow, here."

"Okay. Bye!" Amelia waved at him. He waved back.

10th September,

The next day, Amelia again went to the tree situated at the back of the school. But Daniel wasn't there.

She decided to sit down and wait for him. She straightly went to that place, skipping her lunch, just so she could talk to Daniel a little more.

Amelia waited for him the whole lunchtime. But unfortunately, he never came. She clearly remembers that he told her to see her there the next day. What could she do anyways? She left disappointed.

She only saw the boy for the first time, for a really short period, but still, she wanted to see him again, talk to him again.
