11th September,

The next day, at lunchtime Amelia came back again to that tree. She, herself, didn't know why she wanted to meet him so badly. But still, she went there with a spark of hope that he might come.

Amelia sat down under the beautiful tree.

She closed her eyes, resting her head on the tree, feeling the cool wind. Overall the weather was so nice and peaceful. Even in this beautiful weather, Amelia's mind was still filled with "Daniel". A spark of hope to see him soon.

After a minute or two, a familiar voice called her.

"Amelia?"

She opened her eyes. It was him, Daniel.

"Finally, you are here."

"I'm sorry, I couldn't make it here yesterday. I caught a fever,"

"No worries, are you feeling better now?"

Instead of telling him that she waited for him the whole lunchtime the previous day, skipping her lunch, she chose to ask him if he was feeling better. That just somehow felt natural to her.

As if she had already known him, for years.

"I'm fine. I'm feeling great now, thanks to you."

She searched for words to reply to that but found none. That made her heart flutter even though it's not that much of a heart fluttering sentence. She never knew she could fall for someone this easily.

"I'll sit beside you, if you don't mind." Said Daniel, breaking the moment of silence.

"Yeah sure," replied the girl.

"So, what's your hobby?" Asked the boy.

"Not sure, maybe it's singing?"

"I see, You're  quite talented. You should sing a song to me sometime." He said with a grin.

"What about you?" Asked the girl.

"It was playing the guitar before, but now it's talking with you." Daniel gave her a smile.

"Uh I see," Amelia blushed a little.

His smile was so attractive. His smile, his beautiful eyes that shone like jewels, his fluffy hair, his style of talking, everything about him felt like a sweet melody to Amelia, which soon became her favourite.

"So, do you have a girlfriend?"

Amelia asked, probably because she didn't want to drool over someone else's boyfriend. She was pretty sure he didn't have one but just in case.

"Nope, did you really think I would talk to you like this if I had one? Oh come on, I'm not that type of a person. Anyways how about you?"

"Oh I see and same here."

"Give me your phone number, so that we can have connection outside the school too," said Amelia to the boy who just closed his eyes and leaned his head against the tree.

"I don't use a phone," the boy said in a sleepy tone.

"Oh really? What a shame," the girl said. She was quite disappointed that she couldn't talk to him except in lunchtime or at school.

However they passed their time chit-chatting. Got to know each other more.
