25th November.

"Mom, how many times do I have to tell you that I don't need to go to the hospital? I'm completely fine!" Said the girl raising her voice.

"Please be a little considerate," her mom said pleading her to go to the hospital.

"For what? Just tell me what's wrong with me?"

"Don't ask questions and just listen to me. Whatever I tell you is for your best."

Amelia let out a fake laugh.

"Oh really? I'm not that stupid Mom. Those doctors or whatever, all they do is ask me about Daniel and just talk about random things."

"Let's go or we'll be late," not letting Amelia continue, her mom dragged her with her to go to the hospital.

Amelia shrugged off her mom's hand.

"I'm sorry but no! Not unless you tell me the reason!"

"I'll tell you the reason when we go to the hospital."

"Okay fine, and if you don't, I'm seriously going to," the girl paused, being hesitant if she should continue the sentence. She just chose to say it, to win against her mom.

"Kill me."

"Amelia!" Finally, her mom raised her voice, after hearing her out for quite a long time.

"Committing suicide isn't a joke. Come back to your senses!"

She continued,

"I'm doing everything I can so that you can be yourself again!"

"What do you mean? Do I look like I'm crazy? This is getting out of hand, Mom!" Amelia looked at the lady standing in front of her, with so many questions in her head. She wondered why would she need mental treatment. Has she gone mad? Is something really not normal about her? She thought.

"I can't say it now, let's just go, pretty please?" Amelia's mom again pleaded with her.

"Okay. I'll go." Amelia finally agreed. She thought of directly asking those doctors about it. She knew if something was wrong with her and it would get worse if she got to know it, her mom would never tell her.

"How are you?"

The psychologist asked Amelia, flashing her a smile.

"I'll get straight to the point. What's wrong with me?"

"Well-"

"Am I mentally ill?"

Now the psychologist was surprised. Because people who are mentally ill cannot tell if they are mentally ill by themselves. But Amelia just asked her.

"Wait a minute."

Soon, the psychologist brought some people. Amelia knew they were also part of the CMHT team.

"Should we really tell her?"

"What if something bad happens?"

"Patients can't normally endure that, do you think she can?"

Amelia could hear several whispers. But she could not tell what those whispers were about.

The lady from before, sat down in front of Amelia, once again.

"Well, Amelia, please be ready for what I'm about to tell you because it'd be shocking for you," said the lady. Nervousness was written on her face, as she hoped for the best.
