13th November,
Amelia's mom didn't know how she was going to make Amelia go to the psychologist. She thought and thought about it, but didn't find any way. Because Amelia would probably find out after going to the hospital anyways.
"Amelia, you know, we all need a mental check-up once a year. I read an article about it and I think you should go too. So, you won't be depressed or stressed out because of school."
This is what Amelia's mom told her. Even though Amelia found it quite suspicious at first since it was so out of the blue. But later she just agreed to it.

"You can wait outside, I'll tell the nurse to inform you when I'm done talking with your daughter," said the psychologist.
Amelia's mom looked at Amelia and gave her a smile, which Amelia returned.
Schizophrenia is usually treated with an individually tailored combination of taking therapy and medicine. Most people with schizophrenia are treated by community mental health teams (CMHTs). The goal of the CMHT is to provide day-to-day support and treatment while ensuring the patient has as much independence as possible.
The doctor talked with Amelia while Amelia's mom was waiting outside, biting her nails being all nervous and impatient to know what they are talking about.
The psychologist told her the other day that there are a lot of myths about antipsychotic drugs and their side effects.
Any medicine is bound to have certain side effects. But the antipsychotic drugs used today have more desirable effects and minimal side effects – the patient may experience rigidity, stiffness, or shivering. We do prescribe drugs, when necessary, to manage the side effects too.
The psychologist also told her about a therapy,
ECT is a safe procedure when performed by trained professionals.
However, Amelia's mom just wished that her daughter's condition was not that serious yet and she didn't have to take a lot of medicines and face the side effects.

"Who is Amelia's mother? Please come inside," the nurse called, respectfully.
"It's me!" Amelia's mom raised her hand and quickly went to the chamber of the psychologist.
She was nervous to even enter the chamber, she hoped for the best.
The psychologist gave her a prescription and said, "She'll need therapy to be better sooner, you know, the sooner the better. This is also a lengthy progress."
"I see," Amelia's mom took the prescription.
"Why do I need medicines? I'm completely fine and not even depressed," said Amelia.
"It's just for the better future, you know," said the psychologist.
Even though Amelia was confused and had so many questions in her head, she decided to stay silent because all she had in her mind was Daniel. She was excited to go on her first date with Daniel after leaving this place.

When Amelia reached home, she called that incorrect number of her imaginary Daniel, which was never answered. But she thought or believed so.
"Hey, what's up?" The person on the other side of the phone spoke.
"Daniel, what are you doing?"
"I was looking for places to go on a date,"
"Did you find one?"
"Yeah, I will pick you up at your house. Be ready by four,"
"Okay, love ya,"
"Love you too, hehe,"
Amelia talked on her phone with Daniel to prepare for going on their first date.
How would she react if she ever gets to know that Daniel was not even real?
