Henry was exhausted

For once it wasn't just mentally, it was physically too

See he hasn't slept in a week and a half because of studying and hero work. He's been too busy to sleep and it's painfully obvious to his friends that he hasn't been taking care of himself that well

So naturally when he walked into work ray made him go to the guest room.. Or tried to at least

"Hey guys, I'm here, sorry I'm late" Henry said in a very tired voice

"Henry glad you're here! Go to bed" ray demanded in a semi stern semi worried tone

"What?"

"I know you heard me"

"Go. To. Bed"

"I just got here though? " Henry said in confusion not knowing what the fuck was going on

"Kid you've been awake for over a week" there's more concern than anything else this time "you need sleep"

"I can't sleep yet Ray"

Said man frowned

"Why not?"

"I have work, and homework, and a test coming up that I need to study for" there was sadness in Henrys eyes because he wanted to sleep. He wanted nothing more than to sleep. But he couldn't.

"Bud, you need to take care of yourself before worrying about all that"

Henry knows that but...he can't risk his grades slipping

"You look like you're gonna pass out any second now, go take a nap and I'll wake you in a bit okay?"

It was tempting
He almost said yes but then he remembered something..

"Don't you need help saving the town though?"

This kid istg

"I can handle a few hours by myself, kid"

...

"Okay"

"Finally! alright, don't bother going home. Just go use the guest room"

"Thanks da-Ray!"

Was he about to call me Dad?
No way!

The super hero smiled at the thought

"No problem kid"

"G'night'

"Good night"

9 hours later

"Hey kid, time to get up"
