Chapter 119

At the hospital.

Today was Yoongi’s first day of transferring from the Intensive Care Unit to a normal ward. Jimin had been in and out of the ward several times in the morning!

Jungkook looked at Jimin. “If there’s nothing else, you should go back and rest! There are still so many doctors on duty here, you don’t have to stay here any longer!” He patted Jimin’s shoulder. “You’ve worked hard these past few days, Brother! Thank you!”

Jimin smiled and gave him a punch. “What are you talking about! We don’t need these things between us!”

Jungkook looked at him and smiled. “Okay! When we’re done with this period of time, I’ll treat you to a drink!”

“Hmph! This isn’t something that can be solved with just one or two meals!” Jimin snorted and stretched out three fingers. “At least this many meals!”

Jungkook nodded. “Sure! Pick a place!”

“That straightforward?”

Jungkook looked at him. “It’s indeed hard work. You deserve it! Don’t be modest!”

Jimin was slightly surprised. “This isn’t your style, Brother! Where’s the blood of your capitalists? Aren’t you going to haggle?”

Looking at Jimin’s funny expression, Jungkook gave him a punch. “Stop fooling around! Hurry up and go back to sleep!”

Jimin laughed out loud. “Okay! You can’t go back on your word!”

Jungkook watched him leave and turned around to sit next to Lisa. “Jimin has really helped out a lot this time. When the baby is born, let’s let the baby acknowledge him as his godfather! In the future, when it’s the New Year’s, we can even give the baby some pocket money to spend!” He held Lisa’s hand. He kissed her and asked, “What do you think?”

The sun shone in from outside the window. Accompanied by a gentle breeze, Lisa’s little finger moved slightly. Jungkook saw it and looked at Lisa excitedly, hoping that Lisa could open her eyes as he had imagined in the next second!

Lisa’s long eyelashes moved slightly. Then, she slowly opened her eyes. Jungkook carefully blocked a part of the light for her. He looked at her gently and lovingly and said to her, “You’re awake.”

Jungkook suppressed the excitement and joy in his heart and only looked at her with deep affection. It seemed that Lisa had only woken up after a long sleep!

Lisa looked at him and smiled gently. She stretched out her arm. Jungkook immediately understood and held her waist. He lifted her up from the bed and locked her in his arms!

“You slept for a long time! I almost couldn’t wait any longer!” Jungkook’s voice was low, suppressing his heavy sadness and longing!

Tears rolled down Lisa’s eyes and she cried silently. She hid herself in Jungkook’s arms and said, “I’m back!”

She had been trapped in that place for five days. She had listened to Jungkook’s words patiently just now and suddenly felt that she could move. When she opened her eyes, she saw that Jungkook’s eyes were filled with joy! She was pleasantly surprised that she could control this body again!

Lisa’s tears flowed uncontrollably. Jungkook’s heart ached as he looked at her. He kissed the corner of her mouth and used his hand to wipe away the tears on her face. He said gently, “Alright, don’t cry anymore! Your face won’t look good if you cry!”

Lisa hugged him and did not let go. “But! I missed you so much and I was so scared!”

“What’s wrong? Did you have a nightmare?” Jungkook asked.

Lisa nodded heavily. “A very long nightmare!” This was indeed a very scary and long nightmare. No one could understand Lisa’s helplessness and loss these few days!

In that place, she was like a soul abandoned by the human world. She could see and feel the people and things around her! But no one could sense her and respond to her!

“It’s good that you’re awake! It’s good that you’re awake. I’m here! I’m here for everything!” Jungkook touched the back of her head and coaxed her softly!

Lisa raised her head slightly and kissed the corner of his mouth. She gave him a smile that was full of dependence. “You’ve worked hard these past few days, hubby! I love you!”

Jungkook looked at her red eyes as she called out to him, saying that she loved him! The man’s heart bloomed with joy, and the smile on his face could no longer be hidden. “I know! I love you too! I’ll always love you!”

The light and shadow shone into the room, and the two figures were very close together, as if they wanted to melt each other into their own flesh and blood! Let each other be completely yours!

The two people hugged and kissed for a while, and Jungkook wiped the tears off her face and asked, “Are you hungry? I’ll ask Auntie Sun to bring you some good food!”

Lisa smiled and said, “Sure! But let’s go and see Brother first!”

Jungkook nodded and said, “He’s in the ward next door! I’ll get a wheelchair and push you there!”

“No need! I’ll walk there myself!” She was about to get off the bed when Jungkook squatted down and pressed her shoulder down!
