Y/n's P.O.V
"Order up!" Pigsy shouted.

"I got it Pigsy."

I grabbed the bowls of noodles, placing them on the table.

After a while of serving customers, I sat at the counter, laying my head down in exhaustion.

"You ok there Y/n?"

I look up to see Mr. Tang with a bowl of noodles.

"Yeah, I'm fine Tang, just a little exhausted...I hope you paid for those." I looked at my friend.

"He did, I made sure of it." Pigsy glared at Tang.

Tang sweat dropped, slowly going back to eating his noodles.

"That's good." I let my face fall flat on the counter.

"How about you take the rest of the day off Y/n?"

I looked at Pigsy like he was crazy. "You sure Pigsy? Don't you need the help?"

"I can handle the rest for today, now go, shoo!" Pigsy ushered me out of the restaurant.

"Ok...I have the rest of the day off...I guess I'll just take a walk through the city."

I walked through Megapolis, stopping by some market stands here and there.

I felt a whoosh go by me. Turning my head, I see a orange bird with detailed red and blue feathers.

"Hey there little guy, hungry?" I tossed the bird a peach slice that was in my hand.

The bird quickly gobbled the peach slice down.

"Geez, you must've been hungry."

I left the market, made my way to the park, and sat on a bench.

I sighed peacefully, watching children running around and playing with their parents.

I think to myself if I'll ever have a  child to call my own.

I pulled out a book Tang gave me, titled Journey To The West, if you must know, and began reading it.

Hours later, I noticed the sun beginning to set.

"I guess I've been out for a while, time to go."

I put my book back in my bag, and when I was about to walk away, I felt a tug on my leg.

I looked down to see a little boy covered in nothing but mud.

I crouched down to the boy.

"Hey kid, what are you doing here? Where are your parents?" I spoke softly to him.

The little boy didn't answer, he only just kept looking at me curiously.

"Here, want some peach slices, they're really good." I pulled out some peach slices from earlier and the boy gobbled them down.

"What's your name kiddo?"

The boy looked hesitant to tell me before he spoke. "MK."

"MK, that's a nice name, do you know where your family is?" I asked MK.

"No, I don't have a family." He said quietly.

My heart ached to hear those words, I wish I could do something, but wait, I can do something.

"Hey MK, I have an idea, why don't you come home with me? There's food, fresh clothes, and a nice warm bed to sleep on." I smiled softly at him.

His eyes began to sparkle hearing those words. "Really?"
