Y/n's P.O.V
I sat criss-cross on the ground, the triplets sitting on my lap while Wukong and MK prepared to train.
The triplets were about 4 months old. Each one of them with their own personality.
Háoyú had Wukong's personality but had Macaque's dramatic attitude.
Yíchen had Macaque's personality, but Wukong's goofy attitude.
Now, Daiyu, she had my personality, but both Macaque and Wukong's attitude.
"Okay, Monkey Class is back in session." Wukong looked at MK.
"Hmm, what?" MK said tiredly.
I furrowed my brows at MK's expression. He hasn't been getting sleep, I can tell because he looks sluggish, and the bags under his eyes.
"You plant this Monkey Flag on your Monkey Mountain and you win. I plant it on my "Way Better Monkey Mountain", and I win! Ready?" Wukong gestured to two different parts of the mountain.
"Ohohoho, I've never been ready-er. No holding back, LE'GO!" MK shouted, looking sleepier than before.
Wukong raised a brow at him. "You sure? Cause, you're looking a little..."
"MK, if you're not getting enough sleep, I'm grounding you until you do!" I shouted while the triplets chitter in agreement.
"Less talky, more trainy, Monkey King. I already set the bait!" MK said cockily.
Wukong chuckles and throws the staff with a flag on it at MK.
The triplets started cheering for MK, watching as the game began.
"Yeah! Go baby!" I cheered.
"What?! Hey! I thought it was "Keep-Aways", not "Throws-at-mes"! Well if you wanna play hard-ball, get ready to play har—." MK said as Wukong tried to snatch the staff away, but MK kicked him, sending him back.
Wukong caught up to MK, as MK laughs manically.
"Woah, bud. You're getting so much faster." Wukomg complimented in the middle of training.
MK smiled. "Yeah, I--."
"But not fast enough!" Wukong said as they continued to fight for the flag.
Wukong almost had the flag, but MK pushed him away and flew to his part of the mountain on his cloud.
"You were saying?" MK laughs, getting ready to place the flag down. "Here... Comes... Monkie--."
"...King!" Wukong came in at the last second, throwing the flag to his part of the mountain as he picked the staff up.
"Hey, no fair! We said "no holding back", but you were holding back the whole time when I was right about to win." MK pouted.
I walked over to MK, the triplets sitting on my shoulders and head as I comforted MK. "Don't worry, sweetie. You'll get it next time."
"Wow, bud. I was only holding back a teensy bit. We gotta keep something for you to look up to. Besides, I'm not the only one holding back. Maybe if you tapped into your full power, you'd have won!" Wukong said.
I gave Wukong a death stare for mentioning that while MK looked away.
"MK?" I looked at him with a concerned look while the triplets crawled on him.
"I'm fine, i-it's fine. I--." MK stutters as he hugs the triplets, looking at a broken magic stone.
"Oh, huh. A stone. I mean... our stone. You know it's not something we can outrun, right? Your monkey form, what it means?" Wukong rubs the back of his head.
