After we got Pigsy back and got out of there, we decided to rest for a bit near a river.

"Blue ain't really my color, but uh beats looking like that monster, Zhu Ganglie." Pigsy says, adjusting his shirt.

"Technically, you'd be Zhu Bajie, now that you're on the Journey to the West." Tang corrected him.

"Oh hoho, no, no, no. Don't go comparing me to that demon. My name's just plain old Pigsy." Pigsy huffs, crossing his arms.

"I can't wait to meet my ancestor, Ao Lie. I bet he was mega cool! Right, Tangy?" Mei asks him.

Tang laughs nervously. "Well..."

"I wonder when we're going to meet my ancestor." MK spoke up while he drew.

"I thought Monkey King was your dad." Mei told him.

"He's not my dad, neither is Macaque, but I have a mom, and it's Y/n." He points to me.

I chuckle nervously. "MK, baby, I don't know if you remember but--." I tried to speak, but Tang cut me off.

"Hmm, Mei does have a point. MK, the rest of us mysteriously inherited the powers of the ancient warriors. However, Monkey King is the only original companion we know for sure is still alive. And yet, you have inherited all of his power, so it's a possibility." Tang explains.

Everyone turns their heads toward me.

"What are you looking at me for?" I was confused until I realized why they were looking at me. "No, no, no, we did not do anything like that, I'm looking at you Tang, and besides, MK was a tiny child when I met Wukong and Macaque."

"Yeah, like Mom said. If Monkey King really was my dad, don't you think he would have said something by now?" MK asks.

"Sweetie, it's a possibility, that's all we're trying to say." I try to tell him.

"Well, whatever. When we find Monkey King's stone, then we'll just ask him." MK says.

"What?"

"Monkey King's huh?"

"Monkey King's stone. The one he was born from. Ever since I got into the scroll, I've been having visions of Monkey King standing next to his stone." MK tells us.

"Wha... You didn't think to mention that sooner?!" Pigsy shouts.

"I'm telling you now. If we find the stone, we'll find Monkey King and he can explain to all of you how he's definitely not my dad and everything is fine. So, less yappy, more—." MK pauses as everything becomes dark.

"Ah! The scrolls curse. It found us!" Tang freaks out.

"Tang, get us outta here!" Pigsy says frantically.

"Right." Tang pulls out a sheet of instructions, only for it to blow away. "Oh, no! My cheat sheet!"

"Forget about the cheat sheet! It's exam time, baby!" Mei charges forward as the ink takes the form of an elephant demon.

I summoned my spear, preparing to attack while Tang got ready to teleport us out.

The ink elephant formed a mallet, aiming it at MK, but Mei jumped in, her sword shattering into pieces on the ground.

The force from the shatter caused the two to crash into Tang, and we were immediately teleported.

I groaned, waking up as I looked at my surroundings. "Flower Fruit Mountain?"

I gasped, coming to my senses. "MK, Mei, Pigsy, Tang!"

I looked around, only to see no one there.

"Baby! MK! Where are you?" I call out, starting to panic, but realize I am alone.
