"Mama, Mama, Mama, wake up!" MK bounced up and down on my bed.

I groaned, sitting up and catching MK before he bounced again. "Alright, I'm up, I'm up, what is it?"

"It's the day of the school field trip to the Zooquarium today." He said while getting excited.

"Almost forgot about that, the school asked me to chaperone for it, so I'll be with you the whole time." I pat his head.

"Yes! Now get up, we have to get ready." He grabbed my hand, getting me out of bed.

"Okay okay, slow down, kiddo. You go get ready while I make breakfast." I told him.

MK nodded and zipped off to his room.

"That boy." I chuckled, making my way to the kitchen.

Once breakfast was done I set the plates on the table. "Breakfast's ready." I called out.

Just like lightning, MK zipped into the kitchen and started chowing down.

"MK, slow down, you're going to choke." I sat down.

"Sorry, Mama." He started eating slower.

"It's fine, you're excited, I get it." I started to eat my food while continuing to read the tale of Yú Míng.

Right now, I was still at the beginning where it explained who she was. As far as I read, Yú Míng was the Jade Princess of the Celestial Realm, and her father was the Jade Emperor.

I haven't gotten to the part where she meets her two love interests yet, so I'm getting there.

I was torn away from my reading ad MK finished eating.

"Done!" He sat the plate down.

I smiled lightly, rubbing the excess food off his cheeks with a napkin. "Good, now you ready to have a fun day?"

"Yeah, always ready." He stood in a valorous pose.

"Come on, let's go." I held his hand.

At the school, kids were waiting to get onto the buses to go to the Zooquarium.

"Mei!" MK ran to hug his friend.

"MK, this is gonna be so much fun!" Mei squealed.

"Hello to you too, Mei." I smiled at the young girl.

"Oh, hello Ms. Y/n, are you coming too?" She asks me.

"Yes, I am, I'll be chaperoning," I told her.

"Aw yeah, I can't wait!"

The two children cheered.

"Alright, kids. Get onto the bus in a single file and then we can go." A teacher calls out.

We all gathered onto the bus, me sitting down, while MK and Mei sat down in the seat next to me.

Once everyone was on, I pulled out my book again and started reading.

After a while, I finally got to the part where Yú Míng meets her love interests yet.

Yú Míng was walking through the celestial garden when she saw two monkeys near the scared peach tree, and those monkeys were the Monkey King and the Six-Eared Macaque.

Huh, odd, Macaque has the same name, and Monkey King is in here too, I should ask Macaque about that if I ever see him again, Monkey King too.

I shook the feeling off and put my book away as the bus drove to the Zooquarium.

Eventually, we made it to our destination as we got off the bus.
