Ever since DBK attacked, I've been trying to wrap my head around these powers of mine.

Something inside me just doesn't want to accept these powers.

First a shield, now whatever that blast was.

I also learned how to summon my spear.

"Y/n, snap out of it, these dumplings aren't going to fold themselves." Pigsy snapped me out of my daze.

"Sorry, Pigsy." I say while continuing to help Mei with the dumplings.

"I feel like this would be easier if I had fingers." Mei complained as he struggled to fold a dumpling.

Pigsy handed a bowl of noodles to a customer. "Thank you! Great happiness and prosperity this Lunar New Year!"

"Oh no." I mumbled, seeing Pigsy's stressed out face.

"Y/n, Mei, is it just me or does Pigsy seem more.. stressed than normal? Isn't MK meant to be working today?" Tang leaned over to us.

"YES TANG HE IS!!! WHERE IS THAT PUNK CAUSE HE SURE AIN'T HERE!!!" Pigsy shouted angrily. "AND YOU'RE HIS MOTHER, YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHERE HE'S AT!!!" He pointed at me.

"Hey! Don't go yelling at me, and MK is training with Monkey King right now." I crossed my arms.

"Yeah, He said, "New year! New MK! I'm gonna take my training to a whole new level!" Mei said as she demonstrated with a broom.

"Wow."

"Give me that!" Pigsy snatches the broom away from Mei and snaps it in two. "New year, new MK." Keep going like this, he's gonna be newly unemployed! I mean it! If MK don't get here soon—" Pigsy screams as Sandy appeared with a pile of goodies, dropping them on him.

"Good cheer and happy new year! Look at all these delicious little goodies! I got enough to share!" Sandy smiles.

"Ooh! Thanks, Sandy!" Mei said.

"So uh, where's MK?" Sandy asks.

Pigsy popped his head out of the pile of goodies. "Would you guys please screw around somewhere else?! I got a business to run so if you ain't gonna help, go bother some other noodle shop owner!"

"Come on, lighten up, Pigsy. It's a new year, a time to spend with the ones you love." Tang told him.

Something about what Tang said had me thinking.

Maybe I should've gone with MK to see Wukong to spend time with him, not only that, I kinda wish Macaque was here so I could see him once again.

After I beat the crap out of him of course.

"Come on, guys! The parade is about to start!" Mei gestured for us to follow her.

We all watched as the parade floats rolled by, each one representing each of the Chinese zodiacs.

"Oh, man! MK's really missing out on all these awesome floats! There's the dragon! There's the monkey!" Mei pointed out.

"Yeah, and there's the spider!" Sandy spoke.

"Spider? Pfft. There's no spider in the zodiac. It's probably just an eight-legged rooster or a—" Tang freezes as we all saw a giant spider float.

A spider bot pulls a lever and a tarp flies into the air, revealing Spider Queen and her army.

"Spider Queen!"

"Would you look at that? Everyone here to celebrate the Year of the Spider! Go let them know their Queen is back." Spider Queen said as her henchmen and bots start to infect everybody.
