March 6th, race day at Sakhir, Bahrain
Mia's POV:

I woke up by my alarm at 8am to find Charles still sleeping like a baby with his arms around me. He was cute when he was sleeping.

"Good morning." I said getting closer to his face, kissing his nose.

He rubbed his eyes and smiled. "Good morning RB girl. How much is the clock?" He asked.

"8:10am. We don't have to stress." I smiled and tried to get up from the bed but Charles dragged me back down.

"Where do you think you're going?" He put his arms around my chest, making a lock on me.

I giggled but I had to resist for now. "I'm just getting in the shower. It'll take ten minutes." I said and went into the bathroom.

I took a warm shower and got dressed. By the time I was done the time was 8:30am and there was a knock on the door. I hinted Charles to be quiet in case there was someone we knew.

And obviously, once again it was Max knocking. "Are you almost ready? We need to leave in 20 minutes! Get your shoes on!" He yelled at me.

"But, it's only 8:30?" I said to him.

"Father decided to pay a visit here after all, he wants to meet us at the paddock. I'll wait for you downstairs. 20 minutes Mia!" He answered and I closed the door, sighing.

I threw myself on the bed and Charles wondered what happened. "What did he want?" He asked curiously.

"It's just my father. He said he didn't have time to come here today but he did after all. So now I gotta meet him in the paddock in 30, No 20 minutes!" I explained and he looked at me weird.

"Aren't you happy your dad came to visit?" He asked remembering his dad won't ever hav the chance to come to any races of his.

"I would be, but whatever I do, it's not good enough for him. If I win, I'm not good enough. If I do something for myself, I'm selfish. It never ends with negative comments." I started getting sad.

"Then remember that I will always support you no matter what your dad says." He said and gave me a little kiss. "Go, I'll text you later." He smiled and I said thank you.

I went down to meet max and he was already in the car waiting for me. The drive to the track was short and we were both quiet, knowing neither of us wanted to really see him.

We walked inside and our dad came running towards us with an angry expression on his face.

"Max and Mia. Why are you both so late!" He asked angrily.

"I'm sorry father, it was my fault." Max explained and excused himself, even tough it wasn't.

Although Max and I wasn't always in agreement, he always had my back and took the blame when we came in an argument with father. That's what I loved about him. He would take the blame of anything.

"Don't let it happen again. You guys need to exercise it one more time, at least you Mia. I watched the qualifying on Friday and you were not going on your top level. You were only three hundreds in front of the guy behind you." He pushed me down even more and more mentally, the longer I was with him.

Max went somewhere else and let me be left alone with father. My father was just talking about what I could do better, and not what I did well.

Then, finally I needed to talk with my personal trainer, which helped me get away from father.

I talked with him for awhile until my teammate, Dennis, came to wish me good luck. "Hey Mia, good luck today. You'll do great I'm sure." He smiled.

At least there was someone who still had faith in me, except Charles and Max of course.
