a set up
kang y/n
"you sure you're okay" i ask chaesua, i called her after she didn't come back to the hotel last night.
"yes, felix and i really hit it off, are you okay in the hotel?" she asks.
"yeah, i just showered, i'm probably going to get the next train home." the sentence comes out sounding sadder than i intended it to. it's not like i came here expecting anything anyways... right?
"no wait, stay one more night. felix will buy us dinner at the sandwich shop!" i can practically see her doe eyes through the phone. "just one more night." she begs. i sigh.
"okay, i guess."
"yay!" she shouts causing me to pull the phone back from my ear.
"come to the sandwich shop at seven!" felix yells from the background.
"alright, i'll see you guys then." and quickly end the call, wanting to avoid any questions chaesua may have regarding my 'soulmate'. i glance at the time on my phone, it reads '9:35'. having way too much time before seven, i decide to text minho hoping we could do something together until then.
minho :)
hey minho!
who is this?
it's y/n!
i don't know a y/n.
we met last night, you gave me a map...
this isn't minho.

i furrow my brows at the text exchange. i check the number on the back of the map and compare it to the number i typed in. it matched. i decided it wouldn't hurt to see if this other person knew minho, maybe he gave a friend's number on accident.
minho :)
do you know minho's number?
read 9:40 a.m.
i'm only asking because i think
he meant to give me his number
and gave me this one on accident..
read 9:41 a.m.
are you a friend of his?
yes.
could you give me his number?
no.
why not?
i don't want to.
um... okay... well if you 'want to', can you
tell him i'm not leaving seoul until later
and would like to meet up with him for
lunch if he's up for it. maybe at the cafe next
to my hotel.
