"i can't believe you made a song for me." i smile at him as we get in the car, ready to leave the wedding venue.
"i know, i'm amazing." he says smugly, smirking at me.
"you truly are." i place my hand on my stomach.
"god i still can't believe you're carrying our little baby in there!" his eyes twinkle with love.
"i couldn't believe it either." a few stray tears falling down my cheeks.
"don't cry baby." he instantly wipes my tears with his thumbs.
"i'm just so happy..." i cry, the pregnancy hormones definitely not helping the situation right now.
"me too, hey! let's come up with names!" chan suggests, trying to lighten my mood. "if it's a girl... we can name her..." he places his hand under his chin. i giggle at him.
"minji." i smile at him.
"that's a pretty name." he smiles back.
"and if it's a boy?" i ask him.
"minho." he answers quickly.
"why minho?" i ask.
"without him, we probably wouldn't even be here right now." he tells me. i think for a while.
"what about minsung?" i ask.
"like... minho and jisung combined?" he giggles. "isn't that a bit cheesy?"
"yeah, but they'll be a big part of our baby's life. and i want our baby to have a unique name." he nods understanding.
"minsung." he repeats. "it does have a nice ring to it." he leans down, placing a gentle kiss on my belly. "i can't wait to meet you, little minji, or minsung." he whispers softly, causing my heart to melt.
"where's my kiss?" i tease. he looks back up at me and smiles. without hesitation he pulls me into a sweet kiss, our lips moving in perfect sync, and of course, our favorite sound filling our ears.
"you know," he says, breaking the kiss. "i had this whole speech planned for after our wedding. i was gonna make it all romantic, take you somewhere nice, where i would ask you to make a baby with me. you know, all corny and shit. but apparently we already made one." he giggles.
"that doesn't mean we can't still... you know..." i smirk at him, placing his hand on my thigh.
"you drive me crazy, y/n..." he breathes, attaching our lips once more. "let's go then." he says, placing a kiss on my cheek before starting the car. we sit in a happy silence as i watch the scenery go by. the stars seemed to shine extra bright tonight, as if everything was right in the world. before i knew it, chan had stopped the car. we seemed to be parked in some sort of field, with an overview of the city. normally looking at the city, it would be loud, filled with the hustle and bustle. but from here it was quiet.
chan got out of the car, rushing over to my side to let me out. he carefully reaches over me and unbuckles my seatbelt, slyly placing another kiss on my belly as he does so, causing me to giggle. he then takes my hand and pulls me out of the car. once i'm out, he shuts the door and leads me to the trunk where he pulls out a fluffy blanket. then we walk to the front of the car, i watch happily as he spreads the blanket on the grass. he quickly sits down, grabbing my hand and helping me sit as well.
"this view is amazing, chan." i smile.
"isn't it?" i especially like that you can see the stars even better from here." he says, leaning back on his hands, his head staring up at the sky. i do the same, tilting my head back.
"they're brighter today, no?" i ask him, voicing my thoughts from earlier.
"i thought so too." he agrees.
"they're beautiful." i say.
"you're beautiful." i look over to see him now looking at me. a quick blush covering my cheeks.
"is this the part where you were gonna ask to make a baby?" i ask, tilting my head at him with a smile. he laughs.
"it was. but now, i think i'll just ask you to make love to me." he says confidently.
"here?" i ask, my eyes widening in shock. he nods.
"under the stars, after all, they brought us together. i think it's poetic." he smiles, letting his hand trace my jaw.
"you're crazy." i tell him.
"crazy for you." he whispers.
"i'm crazy for you too... which is why i'm about to agree to having sex outside, in the dark." i giggle.
"it sounds so bad when you say it like that." he chuckles. "we're gonna make love under the stars." he corrects, placing a small kiss on my lips.
"well what are we waiting for." i say, tracing the tip of my nose along his nose, looking him in the eyes. he smirks, pulling me into another kiss.
"i love you."
"i love you."
and we made love under the stars.
