. . . . .

Hell.

Many people say that it is a place full of torment and flames, of eternal torture and rippling screams that can be heard even from the Heavens.

And it is.

The Priestess knew that more than anyone.

Hell is not one of the places to ever underestimate nor overlook. It was a place of terror, and fear and pain. The emphasis on how dangerous and unfathomably agonizing the fires underneath the earths done over and over again by humans should be considered wisely. The punishments for the sins here were severe, and ruthless at all times.

However, the humans failed to mentions some parts of Hell: the beautiful parts of Hell.

The Priestess of the fallen angel sat next to her friend. No... she was unsure what kind of relationship they had. Lucifer was one of a kind, and he was one complicated devil indeed. For one, they went along fairly well. Right now they were sitting on a rocky ledge that overlooked hell, and although the Priestess felt bad for the victims suffering underneath her, the view was absolutely stunning. The fiery orange and red glow of the fires of Hell, the rocky walls stretching all they way up to the point that they couldn't be seen, the dark cloudy purple skies. It was strangely alluring.

Lucifer smiled down at the Priestess, his cold blue eyes gazing down at her green eyes. It was strange that the devil had taken a liking to her, but... why? She did not remember, nor did he tell her. She had long brunette hair, tawny skinned, her clothes weren't out of the ordinary. She had the horns and tail of a north American folklore creature, the Wendigo: antlers that curved and branched upwards. But nothing was special about her, was she...?

She remembered nothing and she did not know why. The only knowledge that she had was that she was a Priestess for Lucifer, and that she and he were in good terms.

As the Priestess gazed back into his icy blue eyes she suddenly had a vision pulled within the depths of her mind. She saw a female and a male, who looked strangely familiar. Had the similar features she had. They were all smiling, living in a moderate human home.

"Is something wrong, mine own priestess?" Lucifer's voice snapped her back into reality. The Priestess blinked up at him, confused for a moment before shaking her head. She did not know what that was, but it was... probably not important.

"No, no. Nothing's wrong..."

"Good."

It was perhaps just a figment of her imaginations.

. . . . .

A few days passed in Hell before she got the visions again.

The same female and male from her past vision took a picture with her with a polaroid camera. In the picture was them and the Priestess... but where were her horns and tail? Why did she look so young? She looked so.. human. She looked so happy, green eyes shining brightly. All of the members within the photo was smiling warmly behind her.

It seemed that she was the daughter of the two male and female humans, and this was a photo she took with them and her family long ago.

She snapped out of her daze as she heard Lucifer call for her. "Coming!" she responded back as she hurried over to Lucifer.

Was her mind playing tricks? Or perhaps...

Was it a memory?

"What is it?" she asked when she shuffled next to Lucifer, and he handed her a request for her to do. An important assignment. She nodded, then the memory popped up in her head again, nagging her over and over until she was overflowing with curiosity. She could not get it out of her mind, so she asked. "Lucifer?"
