After settling all the matters at the organisation, Lalisa dropped her number with them, Lalisa went home like a happy person and even thought of what she could do to help Auntie Su to manage her store more easier, since she knew that she couldn't keep working on there.
Unknowingly, she had spent close to two hours in the painting association from getting Master Wang to check her painting and also making hime buy it.
Knowing that she had such amount of money on the way made her even happier and instead of heading home as soon as she arrived at the bus stop, she stopped by a restaurant and got take-out that would be enough for the three of them.
She hurried her footsteps the moment she saw her mother pacing slowly in front of their house.
"Mother!"
"Lisa, I was already wondering why you were taking so long. The young man said you didn't take your phone and I couldn't contact you." Her mother complained as she pulled her daughter into a hug.
For Kim Xia, one had to understand that her daughter was the most important. If anything happened to her daughter it was the same as killing her.
"I went to sell my painting mom, see it sold, but let's go inside." Lalisa said as she pulled her mother's hand the moment she noticed several people peeping toms around.
Kim Xia followed her and then placed the package of food on the kitchen counter.
"Welcome." Jungkook said monotonously as he stood up.
Lalisa looked at the expensive phone and laptop he was holding before she entered.
"You were able to contact your family?" She asked curiously, eyeing him suspiciously.
To her, she just wanted him to solve his family matters and then pay her so that she can find a better place for her and her mother.
"Hmmm, my brother sent some men to give me gadgets so that I can work while I am here." He answered and then brought out the phone that she had given to him in the morning.
"Thank you."
"Okay, why haven't they taken you with them? Can't they find a safe zone?" She asked as her eyes going to the bag beside him that suspiciously looked like it was clothes.
Even though she didn't think he was dangerous, she felt that their house was already small for her and her mother, considering that she lived in minimal luxury in the last years of her past life.
Staying in a place like this wasn't exactly convenient.
"I have different forces, all my safe zones are known by both, one of the groups was more trustworthy and they were the ones that brought this over, however, the moment they have to be with me, we would be exposing ourselves to the other group, where we suspect the mole is."
If someone from capital was watching these two, the person would have rushed to Jungkook to pinch him to see if he was real.
Everyone knew that the second master Jeon said no more that one or two words. He had enough people around him that would readily translate what he wanted to say to the audience.
Lalisa nodded her head in understanding and then picked up the laptop. She checked everything manually to show that she wasn't rusty and then asked for Little Loli to check it also.
The whole time someone would saw that she was admiring the laptop. But for someone with the brain like Jungkook whose eyes and brain worked in an insane pace, he was able to understand what she was doing.
Suprise flashed his eyes as he watched her, dressed in her school uniform that amplified her youthness and her slender neck was bent over as she looked at the gadget with concentration. He couldn't help but wonder that this type of skills should be with a school girl.
After getting little Loli to check it and she did the same with the phone before handing it back to him.
"Very nice gadgets." She praised.
"Some money came into your phone while you were away." Jungkook started.
Although he wasn't the one to care he found himself worrying that she would do something that she should not have because they didn't have money.
"It did?! Seems like that man could be trusted." She said mumbling the second part to herself majorly.
"What man is that?" He asked without thinking, however Lalisa who felt like this was a pretty normal thing as they were talking normally and then told him about what happened there.
Upon seeing how sincere she looked as she talked about the painting, he was finally relieved.
"He might have made a mistake though, as I think four million came in."
Since he was using the phone when the notification came, he had seen the whole amount and full message.
Hearing that the man had kept an extra million, Lalisa's face lit up with happiness as she started considering accepting him if he had so much money to spare.
They talked a while more after wards, she went to take a shower and change.
"Should I call Auntie Su to inform her that you won't be going today?" Her mother asked as she set up the table for lunch as Lalisa requested.
Quitting the job was her sole reason but she also felt grateful to Auntie Su who had been there for her when ever she needed and no one was there. So she couldn't just leave like that. For someone like her, who had been hurt by several people, she was determined to treat someone well that treated her well. And anyone that did otherwise, would get what they deserved.
"I would go, maybe while I'm there I would figure out a way to stop working there."
Jungkook in a sort of way understood all their matters and he was satisfied when she decided not to dump her work after getting paid from her painting.
Even though the take-out was nice, Lalisa still felt that it was not as good as Jungkook's cooking.
"If you cook you can live here for free." She said with a face full of self righteousness while she looking at him to see if he would agree.
Even though she felt like she was older and mature than him, in her youthful appearance, she looked like a glutton that was too ashamed to claim what they were.
"Okay." He said with a small smile while watching the satisfied smile on her face.
Kim Xia who was watching the two of them frowned slightly as she saw their interaction and looked at Jungkook's eyes while her daughter was busy gobbling down the food with no care for her surroundings.
After eating her lunch she waved te both of them goodbye and left the house. It was as if she was the hardworking wife that cared for the husband and her mother in law with how she left them home all the time.
