Chapter 72: Little Firefly Is A Phoenix

Lalisa's brows raised in surprise as she saw the three men that were outside the building immeditately they stepped out. She shot a glance at Rosè who flushed in embarrassment.

"I was worried after you were gone for an two hours and i hadn't seen you." she explained hurriedly making Lalisa look at her time. The whole time, she had thought that she had spent less than two hours when it had really been four hours.

"Brother!" Rosè finally called out and rushed to her first brother's embrace as all the strong front she had been putting on the whole time shattered. As for the other three that had seen more of the harsh relaity of this life, they simply watched her with slight envy as Chanyeol rubbed soothing circles on her back.

After a while, she eventually stopped sobbing, yet, she was too embarrassed to raise her head making her other two brothers chuckle.

"Take her to the car." Chanyeol ordered as he passed the embarrassed sister to Sun Fan who immediately led her off.

"You both are Xiao Li's friends right? We can give you a ride if you don't mind." Sun Kai said tactfully and led the other two away. As for Chanyeol, he sighed as he closed the distance between him and Lalisa.

The moment he had gotten his sister's message about her and Lalisa being in danger with Lalisa's location beiing unknown, he had felt some sort of inexplicable fear that had him leaving his meeting and rushing down here while calling his brothers.

He couldn't explain the pure relief he had felt as he saw her walk through those doors without looking like she had been through anything.

"Are you okay? Did they hurt you?" he asked softly, afraid that he would ruin the beautiful scene in front of him. While seeing her in her school uniform reminded him of how young she was, it also emphasized that purity that shone through her deepest soul even more. Making him fall even deeper in love with her.

"I'm fine. I'm sorry that i put you through the trouble." when she had thought of bringing Rosè along, she had thought that the girl might enjoy some rescue mission, but seeing how her family had rushed down, she immediately felt guilty and her not thinking it through properly.

"It's okay as long as you are fine... however, the black rose organization is something that even the government can't control. If there's some matter like this next time, you can let me know so that no one can harm you..." he didn't want to add that a girl like her was too big a temptation for men like those that had no restraints. However, as someone that was trained in the military, his words were always bordering on being conservative.

"Let me drive you back..." before Chanyeol could complete his words, a certain bad wolf interrupted.

"Lisa, you have made everyone worried." Jungkook said as soon as he alighted from the car and saw that she was with Chanyeol. more importantly, they were standing so close together that they seemed like lovers on an evening side walk.

The moment that he had gotten the call that she had stepped into the Dark Rose Oganization and that jackson was currently there, he had rushed down immediately with his private jet, afraid that if he was even a second late, the evil bastard would have harmed her.

Lalisa looked over in surprise as soon as she heard that familiar voice. All the feelings she had suppressed in the past two weeks of him being away immediately resurfaced with a vengence and her body shook involuntarily.

"Big..." before she could call him 'big bad wolf' Jungkook closed the gap between her and pulled her into a tight hug while ignoring Chanyeol.

"You had me worried and rushing over from the capital." he confessed with a sigh and then placed a kiss on her forehead that made Lalisa flustered and warm all over.

Chanyeol looked at the both of them and how different Lalisa was around the young master Jeon. also, he felt his mind whirling with several thoughts. He had rushed over from the capital to save her? Just who was Lalisa to him?

"Young Master Sun, I see that we meet again?" Jungkook said, finally acknowledging him without releasing Lalisa from his embrace.

"Miss Lisa was here with my sister. I was trying to make sure she was fine also." he explained as he felt a certain sourness and dissatisfaction from Jungkook's gaze and words

"Hmmm." Jungkook gave no reaction and just nodded his head. "I guess she must have gotten some fright, we would be going now." Jungkook said after a while, however, he made no move to go making Chanyeol nod his head in understanding and left.

He stopped midstride, turning to see if Lalisa made any move, unfortunately, the moment she tried to raise her head and wave him good bye, Jungkook hugged her even tighter.

It was only after Chanyeol was gone that Jungkook released his tight grip on her. "You are so young, yet attracting so many love interests all over." he muttered in displeasure as he ruffled her black and silkly long hair. Without Lalisa noticing, Jungkook looked at a certain window on the top floor of the black rose building as he shot a warning glare there before leading her away.

jackson looked as all the cars finally from his office as his eyes flashed with a peculiar light.

"The youngest general from the Sun family and the second young master of the Jeon family." he muttered as he rubbed his chin thoughtfully. For someone like him, those were all people he was aware of but had no bit of fair for them.

"Little firefly seems to be a phoenix." he said with a chuckle that reverberated throughout the plain white office.
