After being saved by her, Jimin had taken Lalisa's advice to take some days off to rest and also treat himself while Rosè had gone ahead to tell everything to a Hanbin who had been shocked to know that Jimin had such a story. The both of them had planned to give him some money but Lalisa had refused and told them it would only make him feel uncomfortable.
And so this morning, while she was looking through the questions that she had given Rosè, the both of them were surprised to see Jimin enter the classroom dressed in his proper uniform while his face was scar free not giving away any hint of the experience he just had.
Most of the students looked in confusion at the new face they hadn't seen before.
"Who is he?" someone asked, unable to hold her curiosity. Not only did the boy give off a mature and rugged vibe, his face was completely flawless and handsome making even the proudest of them feel curious.
"Can a new student join us in senior year?" another classmate asked curiously. While everyone watched with piqued interest.
The human brain would often time relate a good appearance to being well do like how a lot of her classmates had felt when they met Lalisa in their junior class.
However, after they saw him take the seat that Jimin sat in, a lot of them connected the dots.
"This was Jimin?"
"Hey." Jimin greeted as he sat down beside Lalisa on the seat that Rosè had just vacated. Neither of the two of them noticed the flustered expression on Rosè's face as she looked at the already cleaned up and attractive man in front of her. As she was about to scurry off, Jimin spoke up. "Miss Rosè, thank you for the other day. Yan'er also sends her regards." he said politely while Rosè bobbed her head twice and ran off with her books.
.....
" You look a lot better." Lalisa commented, however, she also had a bit of curiosity at how he had been able to heal so quickly. The only rate of healing she knew was through her mother's ointments and not the regular medicine she knew that was around.
For someone that was the third best student, his wits were also sharp and immediately, got that Lalisa was curious.
"My sister and I like to play around with herbs and some medicines to earn some income on the side. I used one of the herbal pastes that we made." he explained and Lalisa nodded in understanding.
While she said nothing, her mind was swirling with thoughts of what this could mean, for close to three weeks, she had been trying to find something that her mother could do for so long, she had even considered opening a knitted brand line but she was worried that it would be too tasking on her and would be better if it was just a spin off collection from a brand.
"If you don't mind, you can tell me more about it later."
Their conversation wasn't lengthy, after all, the both of them weren't people that liked to express themselves with words too much.
After school, Lalisa went back home after studying with Rosè for a while in school, even though Rosè still wanted to very much go to her house, she was worried that Rosè would meet Jungkook who seemed to have abandoned boundaries when it came to their houses.
Just as she stepped out of the gate, a familiar maybach parked beside her and the back window was rolled down.
"Get in." Jungkook said and then rolled the window back up before anyone could see. Although she rolled her eyes, Lalisa entered through the other back door all the same.
"Since when did we decide you would be picking me up from school?" she asked him with a sharp glare. After spending close to two months around him, coupled with how he was the one person she had met first as soon as she stepped into this world, she had grown comfortable around him.
However, there was this part of her that was still guarded since she barely knew his matters. Also, the scar from her past life made it difficult for her to fully accept anyone other than her mother into her heart wholeheartedly.
"Since you made me rush from the capital to save your trouble finding self." he argued back, not looking up from the laptop keypad that his hands were flying across.
"Jungkook!" Lalisa called out angrily as she clenched her fists in anger.
"Didn't you swear on your life that you were here for something else back then?" she accused as she remebered how the man before her had told her back then on the way home that he had only said that to make Chanyeol think that he really considered her important.
Seeing that his lie had been exposed, Jungkook shrugged, not revealing any slight embarrassment. "The story is whatever version i decide to tell." he said cockily and then leaned in to help her tuck some wayward behind her ears.
Lalisa flushed red and her nostrils flared from his masculine musky scent filling her nostrils and the close proximity between them.
Looking at that flawless face in front of her, Lalisa stayed frozen, afraid that if she made a move, she would make a wrong one and it was only when he moved back to his normal position that she heaved a sigh in relief.
"You don't know the boundaries between men and women." she scolded as she tried to get her emotions under control back. She had no idea why her body had reacted to him in such a way.
Jungkook shot her a knowing look. "Between us, those boundaries don't exist, i'm already your man." he declared and not only did Lalisa cough out in shock, the car was pulled to a sharp screech that showed that his words had made even his driver loose control.
"Since when did you become my man, be careful not to spout nonsense." she warned with the last bit of self control she could muster, which was hard as watching the flawless face say such words with no change in his expression.
"You saved me and i returned the favor of you saving my life. Have you forgotten so soon? Lili?"
