think i'll try to be someone else

My eyes jolt open as my alarm starts ringing and I yawn and sit up. I turn it Off and head to my bathroom. I brush my teeth, shower, brush my hair, and put on Makeup. I grab my uniform and put it on.

    

mom is taking pictures of me and I can't help but be worried about the time. "Okay mom I really have to go now or I'll be late." She kisses my forehead and let's me go "Bye honey you'll do great I love you!" She yells at me while I walk out the front door. I place my headphones in my ears and play a song as I walk over to school.
As im walking I Place my hand on the wall to see if my stick works. I try to use a web to make sure im functioning well. I take a Deep breath in as i start to see The school in my distance. I walk through the gates and look at everything. The cherry blossoms are in bloom and the leaves are falling. I take in a breath and make my way inside. By the time I get to the door I realize the people in there I'll have to deal with for a while . I open the door and the first face im greeted with is a red headed boy. He looks at me and walks over, "Hey! Im kirishima whats your name?" I smile, "I'm Y/N, It's nice to meet you" I usually would rather stay to myself, but my mom was just lecturing me on how i need to make real friends instead of just acquainted and he seems really nice. I turn to look over at what he seemed to be occupied with before talk to me and my eyes fix on a certain blonde I was hoping I wouldn't see.
"Are you sure your in the right class Spidey?" He scoffs. I roll my eyes and hive him an annoyed smile, "I guess I didn't get rejected." He goes quiet and looks away.
"Do you know him?" The red head says. "Yeah we went to middle school together" I say as I walk over to an empty seat. Kirishima sits in the seat next to mine, and Bakugou storms out. Many other people start to flood in and take seats,  I sit up straight and Bakugou slams the door open, he takes notice that the only open seat is next to me, or in the very back. And he knows sitting in the back wouldn't be beneficial. So the seat next to me by the window it is. He pauses, but then a blue haired kid with glasses walks in behind him, "Is there a problem with these seats.?" The man says annoyed. Bakugou groans and takes his seat next to me.
Me and Kiri make small talk for awhile until the door opens again and I see a certain green headed kid walk into this class, with our uniform on. I take a quick glance over to Bakugou and he's looking at Midoriya too. Bakugous eyes meet mine, and he furrows his eyebrows a bit. I do the same, As Midoriya walks down the isles looking for an empty seat, me and Bakugou just watch him. I focus on Bakugous eyes, what is he looking at. My focus turns to his arms, they look bigger. I guess its been been 10 months, he acted a lot different in the past months now that I think about it, but right now, he seems like a whole new person.

     I turn my head to look at Bakugou again, his hands are balled into a fist. His eyes look different, his persona changed. Kirishima turned to talk to someone else next to him and I laid my head in my arms again. I hear the door open again followed by complete silence. I feel a tap on my arm and my head rises up looking at the front of the class. I see a man in a Bean bag slowly stepping out of it. I gulp quietly as I squint my eyes a bit and I look around to try and see if anyone else has the same reaction as me. Everyone else seems unbothered by this so I try to just ignore it as I lean back in my chair.
I didn't want to think about it but, my mind starts to wonder about how Midoriya could possibly get into this school. I mean he didn't defeat any robots from what I heard. My head starts to hurt at all the thoughts going through my head. Suddenly I hear everyone stand up and start to walk out. I slowly stand up and follow behind the group of people. I watch the ground making sure I don't step on cracks. When I look up I see Kirishima talking to Bakugou and I mentally roll my eyes. And play around with the skirt I have on.
I notice someone walking next to me and check to see Midoriya looking at me. "I didn't think you'd be here" He says still looking at me. This kid seems different, just slightly. But still different. "I can say the same thing." I assert my gaze back to the ground. "Well idk I just really tried, and like I worked out a lot and you know it was like a big process, and I guess-"
"I get it." I interrupted him to stop him from embarrassing himself. He might have changed physically but not even close to changing mentally, it's painfully obvious. "I know we weren't close, definitely not friends in middle school but you could have at least told someone you had a quirk." I speed up and get to the middle of the group.

We made it to an outdoor area with a lot of little activities. Kirishima walks over to me with Bakugou following behind. Mr Aizawa starts to explain what we're gonna do. He explains that the person in last will get kicked out of UA. So during all the tests everyone tries their best, one person stands out in all the wrong ways, of course it's Midoriya. Quirk or not he doesn't belong here. Finally we get into this ball throwing thing. He calls up Bakugou, Kirishima pats him on the shoulders I just watch him. Of course he fucking launched that ball, everyone stands in amazement. I just sigh, and look at my feet. He calls a few other names, but My eyes look up immediately when He calls up Midoriya and everyone's eyes land on him. He's practically shaking as he walks up there.

      I watch intently as he gets ready to throw the ball. His arm swings back and he released the ball only landing 30 feet in front of him. I fold my arms on my chest and sigh.

       He just got lucky that's all. How in the world did he manage to get into this school with just luck. I realize that Aizawa is letting him try again, My eyes watch him with disinterest in his actions this time. His arm swings back and this time when his hand releases the ball it goes flying hundreds of feet away. My eyes widen slightly and my hands find their way by my side. I look over at Bakugou, he seems confused.
      How could this kid that both of us practically grew up with, that we thought had no gifts whatsoever, is here 15 years later be using a quirk in front of our eyes.

I dont know much about Bakugou and Midoriyas lives prior to school, or why Bakugou hates him so much. I know Katsuki is an asshole to everyone, but people say that Bakugou and Midoriya were really close when they were kids. So what the hell happened to make Bakugou hate him that much.

     Aizawa told us that whoever scored the lowest would be kicked out of UA. I think we all knew who would get kicked out but we didn't want to say anything. So when Midoriyas name showed at 21st place I don't think anyone was that surprised. Aizawa turns to us and looks at Midoriya. "No one is actually getting kicked out of UA. But don't think I won't kick someone out in the future." I roll my eyes and we start to head back inside.

     "Hey so do you and Bakugou know that kid?" Kirishima asks. I nod and he turns to look at Midoriya.
"Did anything happen between you guys?" Kirishima says turning back to me. "Not really I never had an exact opinion on him other then he didn't have a quirk. Bakugou hated his guts though for whatever reason, I'm not sure." I say grabbing my backpack. "What do you mean he doesn't have a quirk?" Kirishima says sitting on my desk. "your a fucking instigator you know that.. but no Midoriya never said or showed any signs that he ever had a quirk but all of the sudden out of no where, it comes right out of his ass." Kirishima laughs. I start to head out the door with kirishima following behind me.

'Kirishima 💪💪 added you as a friend' I open my phone and add him back. I send him a snap of half my face and wait for a response. He sends a snap back and I wait a few seconds before I respond. It's his hair. Before I can snap him back he sends me a chat
