( Leon's pov)
I woke up and did the usual routine. It's been much more busy since Jia's moved in like a super busy. Ever since that incident Emil's been a lot more carful around her, I guess we both have."Jia ready?" I asked "yep" I walked her out and drover her to school.
I pulled over and parked the car in the parking lot. "Bye" she smiled "bye". Just as she closed the door my phone went off. I got a text from Kiku. I opened it it read hello Leon, I was wondering if you were free to meet up today? I thought about it for a bit before replying back saying yeah sure im free around 1:30. I put the phone down and pulled out of the parking lot.
I went home and sat down on the couch. Emil was at work while I had a day off, what to do till then. I got up and went upstairs. I went in my room and went in the closet and pulled out a envelope. I still have to pay this damn bill. It's already over due, but I don't want to. This is like so hard, adult life really kicks you in the face. I went back down and pulled out my computer and payed the damn thing. I looked at the clock it was only 9:30. I have nothing's to do. I should have said I was free whenever, but frankly I didn't want to go to Kiku's so early to much work.
I opened my eyes and sat up, I guess I feel asleep. I grabbed my phone I had a missed call from Kiku. I looked at the time holy shit its 2 o'clock. I got up and ran to door opening it and locking it behind me. I ran to the crosswalk and crossed the street and walked up to Kiku's apartment. I knocked on the door and waited a bit, I hope he isn't mad. I heard the door open "ah Leon, hello" "hi" I replied. He stepped aside motioning for me to enter and I stepped in. "Like sorry I'm late" "its all right sit down" I did as he said and sat on the couch.
"So like what did you wanna talk about?" I asked "well I just haven't seen you in a while, I just wanted to talk" seriously? "Oh I see". It was silent for a bit till Kiku spoke up "do you and Emil-san do it often" omg. I began to choke on the air holy shit where did that come from! "Ah Leon sorry" I looked up. "It's fine. And often cuz he can't resist" I smirked. "Good, I am proud. Make sure u record it so I can invent an manga based on your lives" oh Kiku. "Sure" he smiled and thanked me. I pulled out my phone and checked the, shit I had to pick Jia up from school. I put my phone in my pocket and stood up. "Kiku I have to go" "oh, why?" Should I tell him about Jia? I guess. "I have to pick my daughter up from school" "WHAT" He stood up. "Can I come to?" "Sure" he grabbed his keys and opened the door locking it behind him.
"So what's her name?" He asked "Jia" "that's a cute name" "thanks".
We crossed the street and got in my car and drove to Jia's school. The whole way there Kiku kept asking questions about Jia. Like if we adopted her or had that donation thing done. No.
I parked in the parking lot and waited for Jia. "Hey Leon, I have an idea" I looked over at Kiku "what?" "Let's have a family reunion" what? "What do you mean?" Just then I heard the back door open. I turned around and saw Jia climb in and buckle her seat belt. "Hello Papa" she smiled "hello dear" "hello sir" Kiku turned around "ah hello" he smiled.
When we got home I let both Jia and Kiku. Jia ran in the kitchen and sat down Kiku sat next to her and I sat across from the two of them. "Jia are hungry" "no Papa" she replied. She looked up at Kiku "who are you?" She asked Kiku looked down at Jia "uh I'm your uncle Kiku" he said awkwardly. "Okay Uncle Kiku" She said smiling. She got up and ran upstairs.
"Okay so like what's this family reunion thing?" "Well Yong and Mathias can help and we can all meet up at our old house, Yong Yao and Mei still live there and you Emil and Jia show up as the guest of honour. The we can all for give each other yay." I thought about if for a bit. "Thats like a pretty good idea" I said he smiled. "Should I call Yong and Mathias to come over?" I asked "yes sure" I pulled out my phone and texted them to come over.
After like 30 minutes Emil came "oh Hey Kiku" he smiled "ah hello Emil-san" "sit down" I said. He came and sat next to me "what's up?" "Were having a family reunion" I said . "Oh" he was silent, "are you okay with it?" I asked "yeah" He said. I grabbed his cold hand and held it close. I swear I saw Kiku take a picture.
Another 10 minutes later Yong and Mathias showed up I got up and opened the door for them. "So what's up da~ze?" Yong asked "you guys want to have a family reunion?" I asked. Yong jumped up "HELL YEAH" "YESS" Mathias yelled. "Okay okay, Mathias how are things at our place?" Emil asked "okay I guess. Berwald and Tino moved out with Peter so it's only Lukas and I" "okay".
We continued to discuss the remaining details as to when we would meet up, and how were gonna convince the others to meet up without telling them we'd be there. After discussing Kiku Yong and Mathias left. Emil went upstairs and checked up on Jia. I laid down on the couch, I wonder how this is gonna turn out?
