(Narrator's POV)
Arriving on Homeworld, Steven saw the Diamonds and Spinel. A smile came over White's face as she saw him. But Steven wasn't in the mood for pleasantries after the actions of the Pantheon took Connie away from him forever. He and the others needed an edge and the hybrid felt White could provide it.
"Steven! You're back! But I can sense something is on your mind. What is it?" White asked as Steven took a deep breath and spoke.
"Solaria and Lunaria." He said as White gasped, much to the notice of Yellow and Blue who looked at her before looking at Steven.
"H-How do you know those names, Steven? Has Pink's former Pearl been telling you things she shouldn't?" White asked as Steven looked at her.
"She told me everything, White. She told me how you sealed Solaria and Lunaria away because you feared you couldn't control them. And then you used fragments of them to create Black Diamond and Red Diamond, who then created Dark Aura Onyx and Fire Agate. The same Dark Aura Onyx and Fire Agate who've been on Earth attacking me and the Gems!" Steven exclaimed as Yellow and Blue glared at White.
"What have you done this time, White?!? Not only is the Pantheon apparently back from their self imposed exile but this comes out?!? Blue and I never even KNEW you sealed Solaria and Lunaria away! How could you do something so reckless?!?" Yellow exclaimed as White sighed.
"I feared what would happen if they ever turned on us. I was paranoid, forgive me. My own fears led me to do that. But I will indeed make up for this. While Solaria and Lunaria's physical presences have long since vanished, their power still remains and you'll need it to be able to even have a chance against Dark Aura Onyx and Fire Agate, Steven." She said as she summoned two statues: One with a Sun Goddess and another with a Moon Goddess."
"Solaria. Lunaria. Lend your power to the offspring of our beloved Pink Diamond and grant him the power to defeat these products made from your own power." White said as the two statues floated over to Steven and engulfed him in a red and white light.......
Once the light faded, Steven stood up on both feet. But the hybrid felt different. He felt far more powerful than he had ever felt in his life. This wasn't just the power of his Gem. This was something far beyond that. And he was going to need it to be able to stand face to face with Dark Aura Onyx and Fire Agate.
"Steven!!!! Steven!!!!" A voice called out as Skinny Jasper and Carnelian ran over.
"What's wrong, you two?" Steven asked.
"We just got a transmission from Earth! Little Sis and the rest of the Gems are being attacked by Cobalt!!!! But she's stopped her attack because she wants to speak with you." Carnelian said as Steven followed them to the communication hub where Cobalt's face was on screen.
"Well well. On the one place where we can't get to you, eh? I thought you had more honor than that, Steven." Cobalt said as Steven glared at her.
"You've got a lot of nerve saying I have no honor after what you and the rest of the Pantheon have done. What happened to giving us a year to prepare for you?" The hybrid asked as Cobalt chuckled.
"What's wrong with bending the agreement just a little for the sake of testing you and these Gems to see if you're truly ready to face us?" She asked as Steven shook his head. The hybrid was truly at his wits end with the Pantheon.
"Off world." Steven said.
"Hmm? What do you mean?" Cobalt asked.
"If we're going to forget waiting a year and do this now? We do it away from any potential casualties. Which means we do it off world. Maybe the Jungle Moon?" Steven suggested as Cobalt chuckled.
"Ah so you want to do this now, eh? Well fortunately for you, I'm fully away of this Jungle Moon. (Gets on communicator) Commander? Have Beryl set the ship coordinates for Planet E-JGLMS5. That's where this battle will take place confirmed." Cobalt said as she cut out the screen.
"Steven.....please be careful. You and Little Sis both, OK?" Skinny Jasper said as Steven nodded.
"Don't worry. We'll be alright." Steven said as the screen came on again. This time it was Garnet.
"Steven. I'm assuming you heard what Cobalt said?" She asked as Steven nodded.
"Yeah Garnet. You guys know the place, right? You can get there by Warp Pad. We'll all meet up there. See you soon." Steven said as the screen cut out and he headed to the Warp Pad.
"When this is over, Amethyst and I will come see you guys so we can hang out." Steven said with a smile as he warped away to Jungle Moon.
It was time to settle the score with The Pantheon.
