Dawson and Felix spent a while researching what kind of natural disasters made schools get out and for how long. Finally, after many rabbit holes, they found something promising.

"So, in 1995, there was a fire.... It was caused by faulty wiring... their school got out for a whole month!" Felix read aloud.

"Look, this school also got out because of a fire, for three weeks." Dawson also read.

"This one... it got out because of a flood... but it was only for 4 days..." Felix hummed quietly.

"So... it seems like a fire would be the best choice. A big one at that." Dawson speculated.

"How are we going to make a big fire?" Felix questioned.

"I have matches." Dawson smirked maniacally.

"Uh-" Felix was interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Come in!" Dawson yelled, closing the computer quickly.

The door opened, showing Octavia behind it, with food in her hands.

"I bought you guys some food! Uh, Felix I didn't know what you liked so I just got pizza... I hope it's ok?" Octavia shrugged putting it on the bed, "I'm not bringing you guys anything else cause I'm not your slave... and go to bed soon. You have school tomorrow... ugh, I sound like a mom..."

"Ok ok ok! Leave, please." Dawson grunted.

Octavia rolled her eyes and turned to leave, "Also, I'm going back to work tomorrow. So, you have to start picking up Wyatt from daycare again."

As she closed the door, Felix asked, "What does she mean 'working again?' Was she not before?"

"She just had vacation time. So, before we go home, we gotta pick up Wyatt from-" Dawson stopped talking as he saw Felix eyes.

His eyes were darting back and forth from the food to Dawson.

"You hungry?" Dawson laughed.

"Mhm..."

Dawson picked up one of the plates of pizza and put it in Felix's lap, also doing the same for himself. Felix buzzed with anticipation as he picked up the pizza slice, but he struggled to do so. His full arm cast rendered his hand almost useless, and as he tried to use it, tragedy fell. Felix managed to grip the pizza curt in between his thumb and index, but the weak grasp wasn't able to hold it. The slice slipped from Felix's fingers and fell on Dawson's cover, face down. Felix's face went black as he stared at the image before him. Dawson then swallowed the piece in his mouth and said, "Hey, it's ok! Let's just pick it up, my things clean too, so no worries!"

Dawson reached down and picked up the slice. As he pried the piece off the blanket, the hot cheese stuck to it, leaving the pizza cheese-less and naked. Dawson sharply sucked in air, he looked at Felix and his face was still blank.

"I'll get you another one instead." Dawson commented.

"No."

"Huh?"

"I'm not hungry."

"But, you just said you were...?" Dawson uttered.

Felix's eyes slowly looked at Dawson, "Well, now I'm not."

Felix's voice unnerved Dawson; it was calm and unwavering. Something Felix was not most of the time.

"Ok..." Dawson mumbled.
