Beep! Beep! Beep!
Dawson opened his dry eyes and reached over Felix to turn off his alarm clock. It had just turned 6 am and Dawson's room was still dark. He looked around tired and confused, momentarily forgetting Felix was in the bed with him.
"Mh..." Dawson sat up, rubbing his slightly crusted-over eyes.
He then looked down, feeling a warmth by his leg. His mouth opened slightly in realization when he remembered Felix was with him.
"Come on... Get up." Dawson's groggy voice mumbled, shaking Felix.
"Hm...?" Felix woke, then also sitting up, "Mh! Ow..."
Dawson then snapped out of his tired state and entered an attentive one, "What's wrong? What happened?"
"I'm... just sore."
"It's ok, I can help you today! But tomorrow, you do this stuff yourself." Dawson reassured, standing and stretching.
Dawson then went to his dresser and picked out a short-sleeved shirt, he then held it out for Felix.
"Uh..."
"What? Is it not up to your standard?" Dawson sneered.
"I just would...prefer long sleeved...? To cover, like, my arms...?" Felix mumbled.
Dawson's eyes flickered down at Felix's casted and scarred over arm, he then turned around to find another shirt.
"I don't have many, but here," He threw a dark blue sweatshirt at Felix, "It's kind of old but I think it should fit."
"Ok, thank you... and, uh, pants?"
"I have jeans, or do you have a problem with that too?" Dawson commented, raising his eyebrow.
"No, no, jeans are fine!" Felix chuckled awkwardly.
"Good, I'm goin' to change in the bathroom downstairs," Dawson said, giving Felix the pants.
Dawson grabbed a pair of sweatpants and a short-sleeved, light green band tee. He walked down the stairs to see Octavia getting ready for work.
"Good morning! So how was the first night?" Octavia gleamed.
"Morning, it was fine. Apart from the point in the night when Felix tried to jump off the roof." Dawson shrugged.
Octavia's smile dropped immediately and she stared at Dawson blankly.
"Dawson. The doctors said that it's a high probability that he has depression and PTSD. You can't just let him do that, he's been through a huge trauma. He may not be thinking right, he could do something dumb-" Octavia ranted.
"God, ok ok!" Dawson fumed, "I got it."
Octavia clicked her tongue, "Whatever, I'm going to work and dropping Wyatt off, remember to pick him up."
Dawson sighed as Octavia turned away, he then went to the bathroom to change and do other morning things.
"The bathrooms open, there's a new toothbrush under the sink," Dawson said after coming back upstairs.
"O- ok!" Felix stammered, standing up from the bed.
"Now hurry up, unlike you, I don't like being late."
