Chantal POV

Work. That's the most important thing in my life, my work. I worked so hard to get here and now that I'm on top I'm not planning to let go of this position

"Dismissed"

I muttered and our meeting ended, I fixed my things and I had a few people bidding me goodbye as I walked out of the room, I was on my way to my office when I felt my phone vibrate but I didn't bother to look at it

What a nuisance

When I opened the door of my office I saw a woman fixing my table and opening lunch boxes

"You're here, come eat, I made this"

She flashed me her gummy smile but I sighed and didn't bother to talk to her

"Hon, I'm sorry for coming here without notice. I was just worried sick so I made you these"

She mumbled but I pinched the bridge of my nose and glared at her

"Go home Y/n, I'm busy"

I spat and her smile fell but she walked towards me and hugged me from behind

"Are you mad? I spent a lot of time making these"

I sighed in frustration and took the lunch boxes then shoved them into her small bag, I shoved the bag to her making her flinch

"I had a fucking bad day today and you're making it worse! Go home for fuck sake! I don't need you here!"

I shouted mad and she lowered her gaze and I cursed once again when I heard her sob

"Don't cry again Y/n, you always do this... go home"

I sat on my swivel chair and went back to my work, I heard her mumble an "ok" and she walked out of my office

Finally, it's peaceful

...

When I finished my work, I went home and when I arrived I immediately went to the kitchen to see my girlfriend sleeping on the table with the home-cooked meals that she made beside her

I sighed and gently tap her arm to wake her, she then woke up and she smiled when she saw me

"Chantal, welcome home"

She kissed my cheeks and I stared at her for a while and she gave me a confused look. I cupped her cheeks and claimed her lips, I slid my hand under her dress and that's the only way-

The only way I can let out my frustration.

-

"You're not mad at me anymore?"

She asked as I ate her home-cooked meals

"Yeah"

I mumbled and continued eating

"I love you, Chantal"

She whispered and kissed my forehead, I just hummed in response

"You can go home now"

I mumbled and her smile fell once again

"What..."

"That's all you want right? Sex, that's why you waited for me"

I said and she clenched her hand

"Can you at least drive me home?"

She whispered and I took something from my pocket and gave her cash

"I'm tired, just take a taxi"
