I feel everyone's eyes staring at me. I'm the center of attention again, but this time it's not the kind I want. I'm left on the ground almost in drenched in tears. My words had been twisted around, and I can't really say anything about that to Amy. I force myself up wiping the tears off my face. I know if I don't leave now I'm gonna be late to class, but I don't care. I walk towards Amy, who's still pacing away. When I'm close enough I grab her shoulder, "Amy!" She turns around and reveals the smeared makeup going down her face. Even though it's not too noticeable, I still see it along with the tears pulling it down. She doesn't say a word, but she looks like she's about to punch me in the face, or fall to the ground crying her eyes out. I'm terrible in these kinds of problems my only solution is really just a guess but I'm going for it.

I hug Amy and in the moment I whisper, "I know I love you." I can feel the muscles on Amy's face move to a smile. I let go, and she wipes the makeup that smeared off her face. "Does this mean you forgive my stupidity?" I say trying to seem cute.

"You're lucky I love you ... so much." Amy takes my hand then we turn around. I have no idea where we're going, but apparently she does. She's leading me to the parking lot, and I instantly know where we're going. Home. This is exactly what we said we'd do. Before I know it we're halfway to my house. Amy holds the wheel with one hand just to hold mine in her other. I'm so completely overwhelmed in her reaction that I'm rendered speechless. It takes maybe ten minutes after we start driving, for me to start talking, "Amy, I'm really sorry. I -" She cuts me off at the first chance she gets.

"Karma, it's okay," she starts doing that little thumb stroke-y thing, and I simply melt. "And maybe I did get a little too worked up over that."

"No, you had every right to be mad at me. I questioned what is very obvious."

"Karms. You need to calm down. It was ... something super easy to confuse." She lets go of both my hand and the steering wheel after saying this. We're parked in my driveway, and I'm just about to get out when Amy grabs my arm. "Karma. The next time you feel like I don't love you, just ask me." She lets go of my arm and I get out of the car. I start walking but it sorta turns into me prancing into my house. Amy follows behind me, and I can see her roll her eyes when she sees me prance my way to the door.

We walk inside just to go to my room. When we get up there, Amy lays herself on the bed. I am so happy that I don't lay on the bed, I lay on Amy. She's giving me a smirk as she struggles to get comfy again. It takes her a minute, but she's finally laying still. Once she's stopped squirming I use it to my advantage and kiss her. There was no way my parents would stop us, since they're all about it. Amy stops for a moment then kisses me, and we're just going and going. Amy took her shirt off, which led me to think that she thinks we're gonna have sex. I just wanted to kiss and hangout, I'm not too sure if I'm ready for it. I mean she may have the wrong idea since when we first got together I tried to take her shirt off.

"Erm ... Amy," I whimper out as I'm pulling myself back. "I don't know if I can do this."

"No. No. It's cool. I get it." Amy tries to back up then realizes I'm still sitting on her.

"We could still make out though." I say wrapping my arms around her neck.

"That sounds like a plan." She leans in to kiss me.

There's a knock at the door that takes away the mood. Amy quickly puts on her shirt as I get up to see who's at the door, and she's trailing behind me. We approach the door, and I open it cautiously not knowing who's behind it. It's a cop. A cop!

"I'd like to talk to you for a moment. Are either of you Karma Ashcroft?"

"Yes, that would be me."

"I'm here under the case of the Good Karma truck. I've been sent to arrest all those who work in the truck." This unsettles Amy as he says this. "Ma'am I'm gonna have to ask you to to turn around so I can cuff you."

I turn around then start to stutter, "I ... what's happening?"

"You're being arrested due to purchase and distribution of illegal drugs."

"I didn't know. I swear." I say as he starts putting on the hand cuffs. Illegal drugs.

Amy steps in and says "I vouch for her. She can stay at my place."

The cop releases me, and I turn around. "Okay, ma'am. I have to take your word for it, but her parents are in county jail."

Amy becomes more protective of me as I cower behind her, "Thank you, officer. We'll be going now." The cop turns and walks back to his car, and we walk out too. Amy gets in the driver seat, and I'm in the usual position of the passenger seat. We wait until the cop is out of sight, before we leave. I'm sitting slouched in my seat, apparently I don't look happy because Amy keeps glancing at me. Eventually, she nudges me and asks me, "Hey, you okay?" I seem to just shrug it off, it's not because I don't wanna talk it's because I generally don't know what to say. I just found out my parents have been selling drugs, and I almost got arrested for it.
