I wake up to the sight of Amy staring me dead in the eyes. I jump back of course, since she was standing in front me instead of laying next to me. Amy just gets a kick out of this and laughs walking to her closet pulling out clothes. I sit up in the bed with my arms crossed, showing that I'm mad. Eventually, Amy turns around and sees me, she walks back to the bed but on the side I'm not occupying. She crawls in and cuddles up to me trying to comfort me, but proving her efforts go nowhere.

I was waiting for a verbal apology. She tries her hardest to kiss me but in her attempt I pull away. She doesn't realize what I want just yet, but I can't stay still for this long. I uncross my arms, and grab my phone. I unlock it, just before hearing "Karmaaaa." in a whiny voice. I stay silent, and scroll through my phone. Soon, I hear in a babyish voice "I'm sorry, baby. I'm sorry I scared you."
I turn to her and say "You're forgiven." in a stubborn manner.

She kisses me. It's just a quick peck on the lips before she gets up from the bed and returns to the closet. I set my phone down and lock it, "So, babe. What are we doing today?"

She replies turning around holding an outfit, "We're going for a walk, then we're gonna take a break where I have a surprise planned."
I get up, and walk to Amy, wrapping my arms around her, "Isn't it ruining the surprise if you tell me it's gonna happen?"

She turns and kisses me a bit deeper this time, when we pull back she says, "No, because you don't know what I have planned. Now get dressed."

I do as she says as she hands me an outfit. I take off my clothes in a teasing way, just to slip the others off quickly. I know what I'm doing to Amy but I love doing it. I look at her and she's occupied already by her own clothes. I walk into the bathroom to do my hair and makeup.

Once I'd finished, I walked out of the room to have my hand grabbed and to be lead downstairs and pulled out the door, by none other than Amy.

We start walking down the sidewalk, hand in hand. I catch myself staring at the beautiful blonde walking side by side with me, and I keep my eyes there. In any other circumstance I'd have looked away as fast as possible, but now I felt comfortable.

Eventually, her eyes locked with mine and I knew she understood what was going on because she gave me a quick kiss on the cheek and returned her attention in front of us. Soon enough, we arrived in front of a large field of trees. She lead me through them and we reached the center of them that had been decorated with a blanket, a picnic basket, a little romantic lighting, and a wonderful over look. I was left speechless. She let go of my hand and walked in front of me, she put her hands on my arms and said, "Surprise." in almost a whisper.

I fell into her arms and said, "Thank you." She wrapped her arms around me and rubbed my back. Our embrace ended as she let go of me and took my hand. I was lead to the blanket and we sat down, never letting our hands leave each other. "Amy ... This is ... Wow." I said still in awe.

"I know ... But you're still the most breathtaking thing here."

"Shut up, you sap."

"I can't help it. It's true." She leaned in. We didn't kiss, she just got close and looked at our hands. She kissed the back of my hand, and told me, "I love you."

I smiled and said, "And I love you."

I guess she got tired of prolonging it so she said, "I didn't fill this picnic basket for nothing. Come on, let's eat." With that said, she let go of my hand and opened the basket. She pulled out some of my favorite foods, along with hers. There were donuts, sandwiches, and much more. She even brought icing and snickerdoodles.

This couldn't get anymore perfect. I thought so anyways ... Until she reached into the basket and pulled out a little black box. She stood up momentarily before returning on one knee, "Before you say anything, no, I'm not asking you to marry me." She opened the box and revealed a silver ring. She pulled it out, "This is a promise ring. I'd love for you to have it, if you want it." She looked me in the eyes and I shook my head and held out my hand as she slid it on my finger. She pulled out another one from her front pocket and handed it to me, "If you'll do the honors." And I put it on her hand.

By this point, she'd already sat back down and we started to eat. When we finished I laid down with her by my side. This was perfect. We were laying side by side, staring up at the stars. Wait ... Stars! How long have we been here? I sat up rather quick and I guess I scared Amy, she sat up with me "Karms, you okay?"

"Yeah, just ... What time is it?"

"It's um ... Shit it's ten thirty."

"What? Shit. Do we have to go home?"

"No, I was just messing with you. It's Saturday. We could sleep out here if we wanted."

"Fuck you." I said laughing. I lightly pushed Amy. We just laid back down. "Why don't we?"

"What?"

"Stay out here all night. We don't need to be home, and what's the worst that could happen? Your mom probably thinks you're just helping me get over my parents."

"My parents! I forgot to tell them that we were going today. They must be freaking out." And just like that she jumped up and checked her phone. "I got four calls from my mom, two from Bruce, two from Lauren and three texts from her, and more than all of them combined from Shane."

"Well, text Lauren and Shane back and get Lauren to tell Farrah and Bruce so you can get back to me."

"Okay." She gave me a kiss on the cheek, and started texting away. "Done." She said and turned so she was facing me.
