When I awake, Amy's asleep and has her arm around me. I let myself out of her grasp, and make my way to the door. I hear a voice say, "I hate to see you go, but I love to watch you leave." It's Amy of course, and I turn around and walk back to her.

I give her kiss on the cheek, and answer her saying, "You wouldn't have to see me go if you'd come with me." I tug at her arm.

She replies, "Where are we going?"

"Shopping?" I quickly answer.

"No, thanks. I'll pass." She says and it sounds like she's bluffing to me.

"Come on. We can get something that'll be for you AND me."

"What does that even mean?"

"Jesus ... do I have to spell it out for you?"

"I think I can spell Jesus, Karma." She says in a sarcastic tone.

"I mean lingerie, you dork."

"Ooh la la, what's next? Are you gonna take me to a sex shop?"

"No, Amy. I mean unless that's what you want." I mumbled the last part under my breath but she still heard it. Amy gets out of bed, and doesn't waste a second before practically running to me and kissing me for as long as she can hold her breath. I'm gasping for air, and she seems just fine. When I start breathing normally again, she joins her hand together with mine, and we walk downstairs. No one else is here. Lauren's at school, Farrah's at work, and Bruce is doing God knows what. I look to Amy, and she's already looking at me. "Gosh, have you been staring at me this whole time?"

"Define 'whole time'." I push her lightly to the side and start laughing.

"Do you think we should have gotten dressed before we came down here?" I say this and she looks down at what she's wearing.

"Maybe ... but at least we're dressed like this together."

"You're such a sap." I let go of her hand and turn back to the stairs. "I'm gonna go get changed." I start walking up the stairs and walk into Amy's room. I'm pulling clothes from Amy's closet, and pull out a white tank top, and a plaid over shirt. I grab some shorts and start getting undressed. I take off my shirt leaving me in my bra, and then I feel two hands on my waist and a kiss on my cheek. I turn around and kiss her. She lets go of my waist and I pull on the tank top and plaid. I get the shorts on, and I walk downstairs leaving Amy to get dressed.

I make myself at home, and do my hair and makeup letting Amy do whatever she's doing up there. She comes downstairs near the time I'm about halfway done with my makeup. She gives me a kiss on the cheek and walks in the kitchen to make us breakfast. When she gets there she stands in the middle and turns to me and says, "Should we eat here or should we eat out?" I know what she's saying here, and I roll with it.

"I'd say eat out but I'm really in the mood for homemade pancakes." Now I'm just styling my hair and Amy's digging through the fridge. Once I finish she's got pancakes cooking on a pan.

I get up, and walk into the kitchen behind her. When I'm directly behind her I put my arms around her waist and my head on her shoulder. I give her a small kiss and lay my head back down. "Those smell good." I say as I kiss her neck.

Once I stop she answers, "Yeah, they're done." I let go of her and walk next to her. Shes tending to the pancakes and starts putting them on plates. She hands one to me and with a quirky tone says, "Breakfast is served, m'lady." I take the plate, give her a kiss on the cheek, and sit down at the table. She sits next to me, and we start eating.

After what seems like forever, we finish eating and clean things up before grabbing each other's hands and walking out the door. About twenty minutes later we arrive at the doors of the mall. I'm almost running in and I can hear Amy trailing behind me, "Slow down. I'm not chasing you." I do as I'm told, and turn around to Amy.

"Well, you should hurry up. I don't wanna be here forever because I know I'm gonna get sucked up in the shops if I don't hurry."

"You're gonna get sucked up?" She says this with a mocking tone.

"Shopping is a serious addiction."

"Well, hold my hand. I'll stop you from going in any stores we didn't come here for." I walk closer to her and grab her outstretched hand.

"You know ... you're the best. I couldn't have asked for a better girlfriend." Just as I say this my phone buzzes.

I let go of Amy's hand and take it out and unlock it. For a moment, I'm just lost in the wallpaper. It's a picture of when Amy and I were little and we went to the beach. Who would have thought we'd end up here? After a moment of emotionally staring at the screen and walking along, I run into Amy. She's staring at me, quite angrily if I might add.

"Seriously. What could be so distracting as for you to not notice I walked away, got in front of you, only to have you run into me?"

"Hey! It's been a long time since I've unlocked my baby." I hold my phone up like it's a prophet.

"Well," Amy grabs my phone. "You're just gonna have to wait longer since it's too much of a distraction."

"No. Give it back. That's like taking away a mother's child."

"If the child was addiction. Besides I'm here, and you said yourself you went a while without using it. How hard can it be to wait just a little longer?"

To Be Continued ...

Sorry for the long wait, I've been dealing with relationships myself, and my now ex-girlfriend is afraid to be with me because of her mother. This is probably tmi but I don't care. I'm comfortable with myself.
