Good Form - Part 1

Day 5 - Neverland

The heroes were all back inside Neal's old hideout after Emma came back. As David light up the torch again, Angie walked over to a wall with markings of day's past that she had seen earlier by the makeshift bed.

"You need a hand, love?" Hook asked her as she struggled to get a hold of the surprisingly heavy mattress

"Is that a joke?" Angie asked back, unable to stop herself

"Uh, no, I'm being quite serious" Hook said, grabbing the other end of the mattress

Together they finally were able to put it down on the floor

"Wow" was all Angie could say when she saw the rest of the wall, getting everyone's attention

"What is it?" asked David

"It appears Neal marked his days trapped on this island" Hook said

"Let me see that" said Emma, getting up on the rock, then pointed to an unfinished marking "Look here, Neal stopped counting" she said softly

"Because he got off the island?" Snow asked hopefully

"He was here longer" Emma replied

"Then why would he-"

"Because he lost hope" Emma said, answering her father's question before he could even finish it

"You got that from scribbles?" Regina asked, unconvinced

"I got that because it's what I did every time I went to a new foster home: count the days until counting seems pointless" Emma said dryly

"You think the same thing's happening to Henry?" David asked

"Pan said that it would" Emma replied

"Hey, we're going to rescue him" David reassured her

"Yeah, we know that. But Henry doesn't" Angie pointed out "He doesn't even know we are here. That's what Peter wants. He wants him to lose faith, to lose hope, and he's really good at doing that, trust me, I know"

"So what? You want to send him a message? Because I haven't seen a Neverland post office" Regina said, making Angie roll her eyes

"We have to take a page from Pan and start being clever" Emma said "Send a simple sign that we're coming"

"With Lost Boys running around trying to kill us all?" Regina reminded them

"Yeah. Maybe it's time we use that to our advantage" said Snow

"How?" wondered Emma

"Follow me, I'll show you" Snow said, exiting the cave

Emma and Regina followed her and David was about to joined them as well when he saw Hook step in front of Angie

"Swan" Hook said softly, stopping her from leaving

"What? We're wasting time" Angie replied

"I uh... I just wanted to let you know that I, too, know what it feels like. To lose hope" he explained

Angie sighed "Look, I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish here, trying to... bond with me" she said, motioning with her hands between the two of them "But I really don't have time for this, so just... just save your breath" she said, stepping around him and leaving

David approached Hook then "Let me give you a bit of advice, Hook: she's never going to like you"

"Is that so?" Hook said

"Well, how could she? You're nothing but a pirate" David replied

Hook was the last to join the group outside. When he did, he immediately sat down and took out his flask to drink while the rest wrapped some vines together to make a rope after Snow had explained her plan
